    Extravert(1%) iNtuitive(25%) Feeling(38%) Perceiving(11%)
You have marginal or no preference of Extraversion over Introversion (1%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (25%)
You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (38%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (11%)

so ENFP apparently, but almost INFP since it was 1% Extrovert over Introvert :p So apparently INFP stuff applies to me too.

ENFPs have what some call a "silly switch." They can be intellectual, serious, all business for a while, but whenever they get the chance, they flip that switch and become CAPTAIN WILDCHILD, the scourge of the swimming pool, ticklers par excellence. Sometimes they may even appear intoxicated when the "switch" is flipped.

One study has shown that ENFPs are significantly overrepresented in psychodrama. Most have a natural propensity for role-playing and acting.
    HAHAHHAHAhahha

INFP children often exhibit this in a 'Calvin and Hobbes' fashion, switching from reality to fantasy and back again. With few exceptions, it is the NF child who readily develops imaginary playmates
Wow, if you knew me as a child... hhehhe.

This website didn't really offer a satisfying description of the type, so I found another. And I found it much more accurate. I presume it was because the description was written by "Joe Butt." And nobody with such a name could write something that was awesome, no siree.

Most of what it says there could be applied to me. And maybe all of it. I don't really know the depths of myself. But it certainly was worth my time, as I am trying to find my positive traits rather than focusing on the negative all the time.

  • I've gotten INFJ every year I've taken this test for the past few years, but tonight I got INTJ... with a 1% lead in the Thinking over Feeling category!
    Introvert (89%) iNtuitive(12%) Thinking(1%) Judging(44%)
You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (89%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (1%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (44%)

I'm thus going to stick with INFJ, the Protector. It's one of the rarest personality types because the individual is introverted and internally focused, and yet he or she is naturally drawn to helping others while getting nothing in return. Once they build a connection with someone, INFJs become genuinely loyal and caring to the point of self-sacrificing. INFJs are concerned for the Feelings of others; they will avoid hurting others or being in conflicts. They are soft-spoken and keep to themselves. The iNtuitive category emphasizes how INFJs are highly perceptive to the feelings of other people. INFJs can become quite the social butterfly and are empathetic to the stories of others. It's an odd complexity where one is comfortable with being in their own world, but will readily leave that world if it means improving the lives of their close ones. They put a lot of energy into refining and re-defining the priorities in their lives often to the point of exhaustion. They sometimes fixate on the details and prefer consistency or structure, hence the Judging category. They are constantly trying to improve themselves and their situations, and are in no doubt devoted to a cause.

The INTJs, the Scientist, are also detail-oriented and observes the world around them, but apply their expertise in a useful way through the fields of science and engineering... which I'm not interested in. I just like playing Pokemon. :')

  • What do you guys think about the dating matches based on briggs myers?

I know the optimal match is to have the first 3 letters different, and the last letter the same.
For me, an INTJ, my match is a, ESFJ.

The worst match is having all different letters. (Though there is a high attraction, apparently, they tend to not last)

I will do a bit of googling since I thought this was interesting. Hopefully there are some studies that show if these claims have any support.

Funny, I was taking the same test and got INFP most of the time, back then, but then, it depends on my mood, I suppose, and I'm sticking with INFP atm.

Apparently the ideal dating partner for an INTJ like me is either a ENFP or a ENTP.

I'm a 100% introvert. This is hilarious but so completely true.
Also I used to be more thinking last time I took the test. Hmm. I remember being Feeling by like a 5% margin, not a 38%.

"Usually self-expression comes more easily to INFJs on paper, as they tend to have strong writing skills", I read, as I have a .doc file with 800 words I should be working on right now sitting on my desktop oops.
"Writing, counseling, public service and even politics are areas where INFJs frequently find their niche", I read, as I'm writing about politics.

It's quite correct, especially the slight preference for extrovert over introvert. The extended thing also gives some information I agree with, so I think it fits.

I wonder if the results have been different if I did the test in french. There is some question I didn't really knew what to answer.

I take these tests every so often, and my results stay fairly similar, but they have changed a bit over time. I've always come out as introverted and thinking, though interestingly, my thinking preference doesn't seem to be as strong as it used to be. That my depend a bit on my mood when taking the test, or it may just reflect increasing development of my feeling side. (I do think I'm a lot more empathetic and moved by emotion than I was ten years ago, for example, though I've never been big on showing strong emotional responses publicly; I tend to internalize them instead.) I used to score S more than N, but a few years ago, I switched more towards N, and it's stayed that way ever since, though it's never been a terribly strong preference. I think my way of thinking about the world and about problem-solving changed a lot during college, and my N preference correlates with that. While I've come out more J than P, that has also gone back and forth over time, and reading the descriptions, I've never felt like I fit as clearly into one category or the other as these tests try to make out. For example, I'm generally quite indecisive, but I guess my other traits align more with J.

Overall, though, I would say that the INTJ description seems reasonably accurate.
