Oh my gosh, Gajeel's confession and those fragments of a possible future broke my heart. Usually FT doesn't pull any emotional strings for me but the scene was really impactful this time around, though I doubt Gajeel is actually dead. Not that I want Levy to suffer but I wish Mashima would bury him for good—would give this latest chapter much more meaning.

Also what the hell are you doing Mest?? did you really just? To stab the strongest magician who you were just cowering in fear of moments ago is so incredibly stupid and risky.

Screw Mest, I'm really pissed at him right now. He's the first protagonist that I'd be happy to see die. Anyways, the Tenrou Island Arc is amazing! Those openings are amazing. I like 9 for music and 10 for actual animation.

Hey Sheep, good to see you here! :) That's one of the only times I've cried reading the FT manga, this chapter was just too much for me to handle.

As for Mest, I don't even know where to begin. I think something else is possibly going on here. Oh...my...god. I just came up with a theory while typing this. What if Mest was somehow being mind-controlled by August to make him mind control Brandish? It would give August a legitimate reason to fight and he managed to frame Mest for it in the process. If that's true...

Manga readers, read the spoiler above, it's a crazy theory that I think could actually be possible! If I'm right, then August is really smart. ^^^

Anyways, I'm glad you guys are so engaged in this discussion! I wasn't really confident about how this club would do when I decided to start it up, but you're all so active, it makes me happy to see that I put something successful together like this! :)

Omg, I need to vent about the new manga chapter, I'm sorry in advance.

I'm not afraid to admit that I cried reading this chapter, am I the only one? Gajeel is one of my favorite characters, so I was super sad, but I highly doubt he's dead. There's no way Hiro would permanently kill off one of the main protagonists, and GaLe needs to happen, so I still have faith. Stay strong... ;( I was talking to myself...

I saw Irene vs. Acnologia coming, but holy crap, this is more hype than I thought. I love how Acnologia acts like he doesn't give a damn about her and he thinks he's basically gonna swat her aside like a fly. I can't wait to see what Irene's true power is, she must be crazy to have the guts to stand up to Acnologia. Logically, she should die hard against Acnologia, but she needs to meet Erza at some point. Will she catch us by surprise and injure the Dragon King himself, or will Hiro's plot armor save her? I highly doubt she could actually kill Acnologia by herself, so there has to be some other way that they both come away from the fight alive. Like I said, I can't wait!

Finally, probably the best point of discussion. Mest, what the hell were you thinking?! Number one, there's no way stabbing August with a knife would kill him, he's the freakin' Wizard King. Number two, I bet Brandish will turn on Fairy Tail now that Mest played her and made her harm a fellow Spriggan. Number three, August is going to murder you! Imagine if my theory I wrote about a little while ago came true and August somehow saved God Serena. Brandish, August, and God Serena against Lucy, Mest (I hope he gets his a** killed by August), and unawakened E.N.D Natsu? Yeah, Fairy Tail is dead. Finally, August's power-up is so cool, and like Acnologia, I hope we get a backstory on him and how he became so powerful.

Anyways, I'll end here by creating a New Topic

If you've seen the anime, what is your favorite opening so far?

For me, I'd have to say either opening 22 (Fairy Tail Zero), 3 (Tower of Heaven), 15 (GMG), or 18 (idk, filler arc). It's way too hard for me to decide, but I narrowed it down to those four. In terms of the song and the actual singing, it'd go between 3 and 15, Funkist and BoA are both really good.

P.S. Welcome to the guild, Duzzy! :) Sting is super cool! Is there a type of magic you'd like to specialize in?

Uhmm, idk, maybe something like Voodoo magic? Hexes, charms, bone magic (skeleton manipulation) idk basically necromancy with supportive powers is the best way to describe Voodoo.


As for current topics: idk, since i haven't watched much of the actual anime I can't really give an honest answer other than the first season's theme.

But I'm also loving all these Acnologia themes because he's legit the hottest character in the entire series and yaaaas dragon king slay me.

I don't like Racer, Hoteye, or Brain, but I do like Cobra, Angel and Midnight a lot. I really hope they come back really strong and destroy that 12th Spriggan. I like Midnight because of the cool illusion powers he has and also his dark backstory. I like Angel because she's super cute and her angel powers are kinda cool as well. Cobra, or Erik as I mostly call him, is just a total beast. His design is so cool and he's pretty important, considering the fact that he's a Dragon Slayer.

Sting and Yukino is another good pairing. It seems like they're perfect opposites, in terms of personality. Yukino is more quiet, reserved, and calculating. Sting, on the other hand, is a reckless, natural-leader type person. I wish Sabretooth got more screen time, they really deserve it.

Just happened to check this right when you posted! :) I can't say Sabertooth is my favorite, but they're definitely one of the best. Fairy Tail will always be my favorite guild, they just have so much spirit and they have the best wizards. If the Spriggan 12 made up an actual guild though, they would probably be my favorite.
