Aaaand Gajeel isn't dead. Of course. Apparently neither is Zera. No character can just stay dead in this series, they'll be brought back in some form at one point or another. GAH. I really wish Gajeel stayed dead for the emotional impact but with Fairy Tail it's just not possible. Well, at least I can see Levy's cute reaction to his return now, one of the only good things to come out of this. :(

I don't understand why people don't understand this, but I'm pretty sure they're in hell because Zera says "A fellow resident of hell?" when she encounters Gajeel. I think it's quite obvious that they're still dead, but it's even more obvious that they won't stay dead for much longer because of Trollshima's amazing plot armor.

I need to vent about the most recent manga chapter, because it's really bugging me.

Okay, so as a lot of people predicted, Zera is back for some reason. I honestly don't see the purpose of this, but if the countdown was just for her, then I'm predicting that she'll be extremely powerful, maybe top 5 in the series. I actually didn't like this chapter too much, because basically nothing interesting happened the whole chapter. Mashima literally just showed us where everyone ended up and how the Fiore continent was changed by Eileen's magic. One thing I found funny about this chapter was how August's demeanor immediately changed from aggressive to peaceful as soon as he and Brandish were teleported away from everyone else. I'm kinda curious if August cast that fire spell knowing Natsu would be able to absorb it, because he seems too smart to neglect something as simple as that. Anyways, I can't wait for next chapter, I'm not hating on what Mashima is doing, but I just thought this chapter was pretty dull compared to some of the other recent ones.

Yeah, it's likely this could just be Zera's spirit or whatnot but we don't need to have every dead character showcased again through some spell/magic or anything like that, either. Seeing Mavis' heartbroken reaction to her best friend's 'death' moved her forward as a character and to bring her back now would be stepping over that. I felt it should have ended where it did in the Zero series. But who knows, maybe Zera's return will be done well? I really dunno though.

Yeah, I sure hope Mashima doesn't screw these next few chapters up with all these Zera shenanigans. I really can't wait to see what her purpose is.

Legend of City is the magic of one of the old background characters pre-time-skip, Chico=C=Hamitt. It was like, she could summon the spirits that were in Magnolia to fight with/for her. Also I tried doing the Top list off the top of my head so I know most of it's crap.

But ranking the humans isn't fair in the first place because of unreleased potential. Natsu, for instance, is supposed to be stronger than Zeref so as to kill him, but right now he'd be tied with, I don't know, Erza.
