My sisters think its childish too, i just simply respond with a counter attack:
"Disney Channel is even more childish, your arguments are invalid as heck!"

Though i havent played Pokemon in months xD

Some people in the media world pronounce Pokemon wrong. A few weeks ago when we had the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, one of the commentators talking about the Pikachu balloon were like "Oh look it's a POKEYMAN." and every time I heard him say it I cringe a bit.

Oh, I heard that! It's even funnier when you remember that he actually pronounced it correctly the first time, then pronounced it as "Pokéman" right after, lol.
 
My dad, when I used to ask him to search some stuff (didn't have internet permission then), he used to write it as Pokiman. Or pokeiman. And say it that way too. I was always like rofl dad that's not it! And he'd say well I'm just not into it, son. :p
 
When I was a kid, I used to pronounce it that way as well. Well, sort of. I would call it "Pok-eye-mun." d: After watching the anime, I finally had it corrected.
 
I couldn't pronounce anything when I was younger. xD Luigi was Wuieegee and Pokemon was Pok-mon! Come to think of it...

That's adorable! Lmao.
 
Canadians are pretty nice, aren't they? Probably 'cos they're all high, lol.

I wish all of Australia was as nice as Canada. ;C

I mean, what's wrong with our native wildlife? We have some very unique species you won't find anywhere else. They think we have a bad government, we have so many bushfires and even worse some claim we "ride kangaroos to work". What the heck is this?
 
I wish people would just stop believing in stereotypes. They suck. Plain and simple.

No wonder many foreigners think the country is "toxic". Especially when you consider the fact that on the bright side, my home city of Sydney is famous for having one of the largest New Years' Eve fireworks displays in the world and it seems like they keep improving on it every year.

Haha, yeah, I know how ya feel. Everyone is like 'Australia is full of rednecks, spiders, man eating creatures and Giant White Sharks.'

Do THEY have Great Whites? I doubt it! But Tony Abbott has given everyone the permission to kill them, when they're endangered. So Nichole, if he comes to Sydney and visits every one, then bring out the Man-Eating Wombat and ride that kangaroo and EAT HIM!! xD
