I'm super picky when it comes to Anime. The last one I fully sat and watched was Hyperdimension Neptunia because I finished the games, but it was pure fanservice and was kinda haphazardly done.
 
If it wasn't for Pokémon, don't know if I ever would've gotten into anime. xD I don't watch it anymore, though, like I said, but still.

Code Geass is full of Kallen ass. Not why I began watching it, but one of the reason why I stayed. These anime directors/artists/writers really service their fans well.
 
I tried reading Code Geass before watching it, and the bookstore only had every other part, then there are several sagas(?) For each character or something?
 
I'm waiting for the new season of Sword Art Online. In the meantime, I'm considering watching Attack on Titan since the fandom on tumblr were like I'M CRYING RN THIS ANIME IS TORTURING ME etc, and I'm like "hmm okay...I should give that a shot." lol

any anime that has a good storyline that could carry me over to the 2nd/3rd episode is an anime that I'll like. I really love violence sprinkled with a little romance in it.
 
I was watching NHKWorld on evening, I forget the exact show, it might of been PopTokyo or something, but they had an anime on there that really was.... weird.... I've seen a lot from this channel and this was even more strange than normal. It's storyline was somewhat okay, but the actual execution of the story in the sample episode was so strange, comically and just way off, I couldn't stop laughing.
 
I want new MAO to start ;; been missing it so much. I know the anime has its flaws and mary sues and whatnot, but it's so enthralling and thrilling, I love it.
 
Is Attack on Titan any good? I've been on the fence about it mainly due to the hype over it v.v

Honestly, It's alright.
I can only suggest watching the first episode and seeing what you think.
I seem to have missed what made it so fantastic in everyone else's opinion, but if you've got nothing else to watch it'll fill 25x20minutes.
 
I love SAO, but it's been a while since I've seen any of its episodes though. xD I'll see if I could find the series online somewhere, and pick it up from where I left off.
 
I haven't been watching that, unfortunately. Halloween messed up my DVR when I recorded it off Toonami, so I ended up falling behind. :< I LOVED Code Geass though. I watched both seasons and absolutely loved it. <3 I actually got a chance of meeting Lelouch's english voice actor too. :3

That's pretty cool. I've never met anyone famous, before.
 
@tiara - such a distorted view you have. True, a lot of stuff today is full of fanservice but that doesn't mean that's all there is to anime. Watch Anohana for something pure and Innocent. Or Clannad for a show dealing with love/romance/marriage/family/tragedy with a little supernatural elements. Or watch Yu Yu hakusho if you want action. Maybe try out FMAB too. Practically no fanservice. You can also watch a major portion of preskip One Piece as it has almost no fanservice apart from scenes involving Nami. Plus, goofy and fun, cartoonish art style may be something you like. If you're into dark anime, go watch madoka magica. No fanservice there. You can also watch movies like The Girl who leapt through time and the like. No fanservice there as well. Or watch Log Horizon. The anime that SAO should have been but failed - a good MMORPG anime. Unlike SAO, involves no tentacle rapish scenes or scenes where main heroine is partially nude.

And all are great series. I can go on and on and on but you get my point, don't you? Don't condemn an entire medium and limit it to 'lel random japanese porn' just because you lack knowledge, please. I mean it, with all due respect.

And Attack on Titan was an enjoyable show for me. It stopped being 'HOLY CRAP BEST ANIME EVAR' material after like 4-5 episodes (because, as it turns out, story isn't THAT special) but it is worth a watch at least. I liked it. No fanservice here, either. Also yeah, @Somniac, like BiS said, CG had tons of fanservice. One scene involved a girl masturbating using a table and another had us being able to see the bare chest of a woman in all its glory. It isn't fanservice free in the least lol. Though the nina table fapping part is more creepy than arousing.

Holy cr- Log Horizon looks pretty cool. I'll give it a go after my exams are over, likely :3 Thanks for the suggestion, Dero!
 
^ you're welcome, Rika. :] Though don't go into it expecting romance/too much action. It has action, yes, but it is a series which concentrates more on the world of the game itself. And politics between several factions. Pretty clever at that too. :3 And players don't die in real life if they die in game. They respawn at nearest cathedral. BUT, once you've seen episode 14, you'll know that in game death has its consequences as well. And they're not anything to scoff at. Pretty creepy too.

so yeah I wonder what next supporters collab might be?

I wonder if we'll do it with new X/Y Pokemon added in or something.
 
Not really, most of us are busy somewhat...especially with school starting. And a collab...hmm, not sure what everyone else thinks. xD

I woke up at 5 am for no reason ;;
