what is snow?

/californian

I'd actually be happy with snow. No matter how much. If you got some snow you can ship it to my house but then it'll probably be melted by then.

Sometimes I feel like the only person who'd rather it be hot than cold. I still have bad memories of how cold I would get in my college dorm in November. Having to work outside in this weather isn't helping!

Also I think this is the VIP Forum's 32,000th post, haha.

I don't mind the chilly weather. I'd rather put more layers on or wrap in a blanket than get all sweaty and miserable to the poi n t of where I don't want to do anything

I love cold weather. It's most likely due to the fact that I spent most of my life in Maine. I was born and raised there until like... fourteen I think? I can't stand the heat, but at least it's not the muggy shit like what Maine used to have.

I grew up in the desert southwest where the heat is very dry. I now live in the midwest where the heat is very humid. On the plus side the winters are much colder here. I like the cold, but if it's going to be below 25F then it had better snow. I don't want to put up with the stupid cold weather without having some snow as compensation.

I hated when it would snow so constantly at the very beginning of the year, it was awkward that we had so many classes cancelled because of it. You'd think that I would like that, but after a while it just left me wondering why we kept getting pummeled with it. We even had a blackout at the college early in the month and were forced to leave thanks to the outages.

I think what I dislike most is really humid or really dry weather (like our dry, cold winters). Too humid and hot, and you can't breathe. Too dry and my hair gets its own life.

It doesn't bother my hair. Mainly, because my hair is just... ugh. I can't do anything with it, and it's so hard to manage, even at the length it's at now. DX That's why I always like wearing animal hats all of the time because it just... does it's own thing or something.

I do hate hot weather. It makes you feel so gross, and it also makes you extremely lazy. :|

the part of new zealand i live in is permanently tropical and i'm so over it

Humidity/dry weather is disgusting. I dread summer each time as it's unbearable here.. literally. I nearly had a heat stroke walking ten minutes to get my brother from camp some years ago. :( Needed to get a spray bottle, umbrella and everything.

Ah yes I totally agree with you.

I live in Australia, and I know I'm so used to intense humidity and very bad sunlight (in fact I have very fair skin, making me prone to sunburn) and I usually always have to try and have some cool drinks on me, or if I'm at home having a wet face washing cloth sitting on my head.

Summer may be fun if you're an Australian, but the temperatures are very intolerable given how stressed I get in humid conditions. Lately I've found myself struggling to get to sleep due to the humidity.

It's always 25-34C and humid from where I live. Yup, tropical.

Early afternoons can be absolutely dreadful. Outside the monsoon season, it's quite unbearable at night without AC. it could be just me but still

Being in the desert right now, it dipped to the low 30's last night. So it was pretty cold in my terms. Was under a frost advisory too, so had to have my oldest doggy inside.

Really? Where I live, it's beggining in the 30's as well... but it's not enough to cause any frost warnings or anything though. Arizona is so weird like that lol. Besides, it's usually the coldest at night time, but it gets somewhat warmer with the sun and what not.

It's raining here right now, and it's hard to tell much else when the heater is cranking on so often

Meanwhile, Sweden gets sun for once :') ah, sometimes cold weather is nice.

Also, everyone who hasn't signed up for the supporter collab yet, gogogo!
