First image leaked(the one in black and white) reveals that a serial code will unlock a trial version of Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire that starts you with the middle evolution of a starter in the November issue of Corocoro
Claims that you will obtain a new Mega Evolution in this demo; the words used leaves room for the fact that it could be a never before seen Mega Evolution
Mega Sharpedo gets Strong Jaw for ability, get's a basic stat boost with no particular stat getting a big boost, typing does not change
Mega Camerupt gets Sheer Force for ability, gets a speed decrease and boost in everything else, typing does not change
Mega Kyogre gets Rain of Beginnings("strong rain") for ability
Mega Groudon gets Land of Endings("strong daylight") for ability
no details on Mega Gallade ability or boosted stats yet
Groudon's new move is called "Cliff Sword"

My guess is since Drought and Drizzle will only last for five turns in Gen V, the new abilities "Rain of Beginnings" and "Land of Endings" will be the same, but it will last throughout the battle.

But what if Fire and Water moves get boosted more?
Gg xD

Maybe land of endings boost ground moves, instead of drought boosting fire moves :O

YAY Wally returned but now with a Mega Galade... I think Pokemon saw people complaining about Diantha and Wally BOTH Having a Mega Gardevoir. Imagine catching a Pokemon with him.

Ah, Wally was okay in the original games but this might make him more worthwhile. I really wanted Mega Gallade in XY considering Gardevoir got its Mega, and I guess you can say it was something I saw coming. I just hope they don't give it unwanted Special Attack points like they did with Mega Gardevoir's Attack stat...Diantha's folds to physical attacks for that reason.

It's kinda interesting they traded Wally's Gardevoir for a Gallade, but hey at least that can separate him from Diantha now because she had a Gardevoir as her resident Mega. Let's hope it gets a nice ability so I can consider using it. And Wally all dressed in white now... to match Mega Gallade, so yeah it fits I guess.

As for Mega Sharpedo and Mega Camerupt, we all expected these ever since we saw pics of Maxie and Archie revealing they had Mega Stones. Both do look pretty menacing and have nice abilities as well.

The Primal Groudon/Kyogre abilities seem to be essentially Drought and Drizzle pre-6th Gen, in that it's endless rain and sunlight. It's probably to make their STAB's hit even harder so yeah imagine having to deal with such strong attacks while trying to catch them in Cave of Origin.

But based on stuff I saw I think Groudon/Kyogre activates its Primal form in the scene where you catch them.

So Wally's new ace Pokemon is a now Gallade now? Wouldn't that make Lucian less unique now due to also using Gallade as his ace Pokemon in Platinum?

As for the controversy regarding level nerfs on gym leaders, have they forgotten about Whitney's Miltank being nerfed by one level? Also new flash, Pokemon games are always easy as long as you know what you're doing. It really bugs to see people wanting Pokemon's difficulty curve to be on the same ranks as Dark Souls and Battletoads.

Correction, starting in Gen VI, as Gen V still had Perma weather.

@ Pinkie Actually all of Whitney's team got nerfed by one level (while Bugsy's went up one). Yeah, they aren't all that difficult.

Also either way Wally Kirlia's final would've made someone less unique (Gardevoir would've made Diantha less unique, and Gallade would've/made Lucian less unique).

Since Wally was going to take the Ace of another trainer regardless of which Pokemon it was, I would have liked to see him keep Gardevoir. I don't really see why they changed it other than to advertise the new Mega Evolution, but we'll likely only see it once or twice in-game.

Well his Ralts is male in the originals. That with the addition of the 4th gen cross evolutions of Hoenn dex mon being added to the dex, plus the chance to give Mega Gallade the spot light probably have something to do with the change.

Now I'm very confident that at least one Glacia's Glalie (both female) will be retcon to a Froslass.

I wish they did away with Wally altogether.

They really are giving away Megas to everyone, aren't they? I thought it was somewhat of a "chosen one" thing, but considering they went as far as giving a Mega to Wally of all people...

I surely hope they nerf Wattson. Giving him a Manectric when the only Ground Pokémon you can get before Mauville is Geodude (if you didn't choose Mudkip) was terrible design.

We've had Wally's Ralts evolve into Gallade and Phoebes Dusclops into Dusknoir, so this probably confirms that Gen IV evolutions have been added to the expanded pokedex at least. Also it could mean that those trainers who had duplicates will now have cross-regional evolutions i.e Glacia with Glalie and Froslass as mentioned above.

Wally has visible character development. Best new feature? I think so! Another thing. If they have two Wally arts, and for some reason he doesn't have a battle model, doesn't that technically mean that they could also do the same thing for the E4 rematches, and introduce new artwork for key-stone placement? Same thing for the Gym leaders. I'm curious.

He's the second rival, why would they have gotten rid of him?

Well Wally is very close to his Pokemon, so it makes sense he can use Mega evolution.

Also thus far per game four are only three who can use Megas (other than the player that we know of) OR: Maxie, Wally, Lissa, and Steven
AS: Archie, Wally, Lissa, and Steven
While XY both had: Diantha, Lysander, Korrina, and the rival. Thus far OR and AS are tied with XY.

If he's the second rival, why is he able to use Mega Evolution? He's not important to the story AT ALL. He appears once in what's supposed to be a tutorial for catching Pokémon, and then disappears until near the end of the game. They could've given him more appearances in the remakes, but in the originals his participation was simply too badly written. In X and Y you see Serena/Calem developing as a character before they're able to use Mega Evolution. If they want to use Wally in the same way, they're going to hopefully make him more relevant to the story and give him a development arc similar to what Serena/Calem had.

Plus he's boring.

Whoa. Anyone see the black page with screenshot of Steven on it? It also shows a double battle against, correct me if I'm wrong idk the new models, TABITHA AND SOMEONE FROM AQUA
At the bottom page, it shows a Pokéball with a ? Mark inside, does anyone know what it says beside it?
