I don't remember the last time we were in an IKEA, but it was many years ago. And in a paper I wrote in 2012 for my economics class about a book that talks about failing companies of the world (or ones that are not top caliber in their bargains), IKEA was one of the companies that it spoke of.

It had literally been over a decade since I last went to an IKEA store... but speaking of IKEA stores in Australia, during the very bad storms in Sydney a tree came down not far from the area's newest IKEA store, which has been operating since 2012 iirc.

I think I once had IKEA products years ago, when I was really young I had these star-shaped cushions where two of the points are replaced with hands. I had two of them, a yellow and a blue one which I guess fits in with their colors hahahaha.

Last time I went to IKEA was back when I was living at Saudi Arabia, probably around when I was 3-4 years old lol. Indonesia doesn't have a lot of IKEA stores around, and they're probably hella expensive anyway.

The only thing that I can remember about IKEA was that one catalog that I kept looking through haha. I was a weird kid. Wonder where it went.

Well Rika, you are Swedish so it's natural you know stuff about IKEA.

Sweden looks like such a beautiful place...

Sometimes. Sometimes not. Like every other country. But I'm not complaining, I love it here.

we don't have IKEA here so this might sound a little noobish but what exactly do you sell there?

is IKEA a furniture store, a swedish food store, or like a swedish store filled with everything sweden?

I recently got a new chair from the IKEA, but I already want a new one because this one destroys my elbows because it's arm supports have no soft cushions on it and since I play a lot of video games I use those supports a lot aswell and then the elbows die out :(

I need to get a proper desk chair, so that means a likely trip to IKEA in the near future too. I don't think I'll be going to IKEA today for that sofa foot. The doctors have drained me of precious blood, and now I'm super tired.

I remember the days of when I would have bean bag cushions, those were always nice to fall back onto. But nowadays we stick with the standing chairs.

I remember my bean bag. Oh lord that was heavy to fall into when you were tired. Unfortunately, having cats with a leather beanbag means that it doesn't last long. Not that it would have travelled with me when I moved anyway.

I got lost in a IKEA once :(
i get lost every time i have to go to the showrooms

it's primarily a furniture and home good store! there is also a restaurant inside and every IKEA outside of sweden is also required to have a swedish food market!

The showrooms are ridiculously complex to navigate. I could easily get lost, but it scares me so much I don't leave the path much.

actually yeah showrooms are pretty impossible and i don't get why?? i can navigate all of the lower floor flawlessly but the showrooms are a mystery. the shortcuts and layout just doesnt make sense and you like. have to take the path.

Last time I went my friends wanted to get through as quick as possible, so we ended up taking shortcuts and cutting through showrooms and I got split up from them and nearly freaked out, before they had a go at me for lagging behind lmao
