You could always get laser eye surgery.. unless you have astigmatism.

Laser eye surgery isn't covered by my insurance, and I'm not rich enough to pay for it out of my own pocket.

Maybe it's just IAF but I heard you can be a air force pilot even with glasses.
What's wrong with your eyes? I was born with Amblyopia, but because I was a crazy kid with money I didn't had this adhesive eyepatch on for too long. I guess you can't think long-term as a kid.

And I totally feel dumb about that SIAFB part.

It also depends on your personal eye doctor, too. Yeah, laser eye surgery is expensive, ranging from $500 per eye. I got it after my 18th birthday, and didn't pay a cent out of my pocket because it was covered by my mother's insurance. You will have to go through a series of exams if you decide in the future.

I'm gonna keep my glasses, or perhaps get lenses sooner or later.

I've had glasses since 5th grade and their much simpler than contacts. When I'm older I'm thinking about getting corrective eye surgery to get rid of my need for glasses.

I'm very near-sighted. I can't see anything far away. But sometimes, I can't see stuff close up either without my glasses.

I'm very near sighted too, so I would need my glasses to see something far away. I can be able to see stuff up close fine, but that might change when I get older. I probably will need my eyes checked again one day. D:

I've never tried contacts but the thought of sticking them in my eyes frightens me.

I am susposed to wear glasses just for reading but i think i look stupid in them so i said screw it and thru em away.

Ah, I wear contacts. It isn't scary at all. I prefer it more than glasses. I hate wearing glasses. It gets so annoying.

I don't like the idea of sticking contact lenses into your eyes, it seems a bit, weird. I prefer glasses, and I'll probably need some soon as well, because my eyesight isn't that good. I'm short-sighted and it gets very annoying sometimes.

I've had glasses for years, but recently I've had to get bifocal lenses after having cataract surgery.

Glasses make my eyes itchy and dry so sometimes I don't wear them even when I should...

The idea of contacts also frightens me a little, I'm always iffy about putting my fingers anywhere near my eyeballs.

Considering the amount of time my eyes are glued to this laptop screen every day, I have very good eyesight. I suppose I do my fair share of carrot munching. xD

So, uh, it's already Summer here. Christmas is in eight days, yet I still haven't put up the Christmas tree. I'm not very festive when it comes to Christmas... >_>

I once thought I needed glasses when I was six, but here I am 17 years later and I still don't have a pair. XD

But my dad has them, and we share a lot of medical traits, so I assume I'll need them in another 10-20 years.

I started wearing glasses when I was in the 6th grade. Then I stopped wearing them when I turned 18 and when I decided to do laser eye surgery. Glasses aren't really that bad, imo. I never wore contacts, because my parents didn't give me permission to do so. :/
