The only hate for the beach I have is my hate for getting sand off my feet after :(

The beach is gross. People should forget the sandy hell that is the beach and just find a pool. Equal tanning and watery coolness, but no sand in your crevices two weeks later and usually closer proximity to home :P

I... love going to the beach. Clear waters, soothing waves, lots of stuff to collect. I'd actually like to live near one, the closest spots that are as notable around here are forests, mountains and plantations. And a huge lake.

Man-made pools just don't have the same effect.

LMFAO @ Scarf's link. That is amazing.

What?! You're inhuman! The beach is the best ever. And you only get sand in your crevices two weeks later if you don't shower, you loon.

I do shower! I use those gross showers at the beach and then I go home and shower and then when I'm 100% sure I'm clean, I shower again. BUT THE SAND IS STILL THERE. IT'S EVERYWHERE.

They should invent grass beaches. I'd go to a grassy beach.

What's a swimming slipper? Whenever I'm at a pebble beach I just deal with how much it hurts, which isn't really all that much, and enjoy it while I'm there.

Shingle beaches, that's how they're classified. Prefer them over their sandy counterparts.

Spoiler:

They actually...appear to be pretty practical.

The best beaches are the ones with boardwalks and a whole bunch of hotels overlooking the beach and ocean. I don't like the fact that the beach we always go to is one of those boring, secluded ones.

But that sounds like really crowded places. I'd rather listen to the waves in isolation.
It would be perfect to just have the right amount of people in those places you described, though.

If you are as pale as I am, you should avoid people. They are repulsed.

xD Not really perhaps, but I feel so pale in the start of every summer.

So you don't like the beach either, Mr Cat Dog? :(

I'm tan, so I don't. Still, people are repulsed.
That's because people here prefer the lighter-skinned.

Probably why sunscreen and whitening lotion get sold out around here. Especially during summer.

In the summer I plan to sit around the house and do nothing. (Kidding.)

I plan to try to get that PC stalker award! >: D Think I can do it?

Whitening lotion is...a thing?

Whitening lotion is...a thing?

As foreign as it sounds, it's the cardinal 'beauty' product in a majority of countries aligned along the equator, if I were to generalise. Certain it applies to mine. Goes to show how things are perceived differently.

Also, found this reading today; chutzpah.
Noun, means, "insolence/audacity".
I am in love with this word. Chutzpah.. Chutz..

It means

cohones

You know. ;)

This. And it's a dead giveaway to where I actually live.

Chutzpah. It doesn't produce a red squiggly line! Astonishing.
After that Touj, I...don't want to know what it means.

Big font, for hahaha...score boss. Credit is due.
Spelled as cojones, though, isn't it?

@CID, I don't think a lot of people outside the regions we live in would know how popular it is. They're usually surprised to hear it. The contrast is lovely to observe.
