I'm not a big fan of horror movies or even horror TV series either. But I don't know if Attack of Titan is horror-genre or not, haven't watched it yet.

Attack on Titan isn't horror though. I can't stand horror and AoT is fine with me; it's action and gore, not horror.

Anime + horror? Lol. I have never heard of such a thing ever existing.

I think as there are horror films, horror animes existed as well, but usually the anime is depicted with kawaii or moe (cute) moments, so I don't think they associate anime with horrors because of that.

I was mostly talking from a viewer standpoint. There are some scary scenes in some anime, but from my own viewpoint, I don't think I can ever consider anything anime to be in the same lane as proper horror, because the drawing style distracts from it. I can't suspend my disbelief enough to truly be scared like a horror movie can do to me.

I've been scared before, but I'm really really easily scared. Sometimes the drawing style adds to it, just because some horror relies on things that are impossible in the real world.

Paranoia Agent and Higurashi both scared the pants off me and I couldn't finish them.

I've never understood why somebody would try to voluntarily scare themselves.

A rush..? You know what's going to happen with most movies, but it's about if you can see if you're brave or not to endure the surprise

I always wonder why I do it to myself. I don't actually like the feeling of being scared, but I love reading scary stories online. After reading some for a few days I usually really regret it and then take a break from them for a few weeks looool.

The human consciousness is a curious one. Both in understanding it, and the way it works. People enjoy giving themselves a "thrill", which is a large factor in wanting to scare yourself.

Funnily enough, getting a good scare once a day is actually good for the average person's heart. Or so I hear. I imagine it's to do with flow of blood pressure. In saying that, horror movies don't ever really frighten me, though horror games do. I think it's something about the way you put yourself in the situation more, when you're actually playing through it.

I'm the opposite. Slender and Five Nights don't scare me but any horror movie will freak me out.

Nah neither of those games were very scary to me either to be honest! You should take a look at "Silent Hills" and "Outlast", if you don't find horror games freaky!

Five Nights is much more terrifying than Silent Hill what world are you living in

Five Nights is literally the only horror game I cannot play because of the gameplay good lord that is terrifying

I don't like jump scares at all, so I would never even attempt to play Five Nights or Slender, or any horror game really. The type of tension horror games create just doesn't appeal to me at all - it just stresses me out and I don't get any enjoyment out of it.

Nope. After having seen such scary things about Nopeman, I just can't play it or Silent Nope or Five Nopes or Outnope and I'm definitely not watching anymore Paranopemal Nopetivity movies. I'm done with that genre.

I feel you, I hate horror and don't find enjoyment out of scaring myself. I'll happily enjoy my safe adventure in Pokemon and Kirby. Ahhh Hoenn and Dream Land. ^_^

Aw, horror is great. Fear is like the easiest emotion to tap into and part of why I like horror movies is because I'm always invested. And there's always cool things going on visually and auditory-wise. If you guys wanna see a crazy horror flick, watch VHS. It's kinda weird to wrap your head around at first, because it's several different storylines one after the other that don't actually relate to one another. Wicked stuff though, really scary.

That being said, I can't watch horror alone. Need somebody to cuddle lol.
