I started learning how to play the piano at 7 and organ at...13, I believe. Finishing a master's degree in music now, so I guess I must be okay at both. :P

When you get un-lazy, wow people without spending too money on a mic then, build up advertising credits, and then buy a studio-quality one. It worked for all those YouTubers. :P

Practicing my british accent to conquer youtube. I'll be the new Zoella by the end of this month.

My God, Geoff. You finally fucking changed your theme.

Have you suffered a recent blow to the head? Should I call paramedics?

:P

I took 9 or 10 years of piano lessons when younger and I have a grand piano and a keyboard. I really need to shake the rust off sometime. other than that, I play drums and can kind of fuck around with a lot of pitched percussion stuff, I play sax pretty well, and I have a guitar lying around that I can play two chords on so I guess I can write a punk album if all else fails. I really need to start learning guitar seriously. I can kind of sing a little and I can also shout so see that punk thing is looking more and more appealing.

Learning to play recorder was one of the stupidest things I ever did in school. Such a waste of time. I would have gladly learned harmonica instead.

I learned how to play instruments in this order:

Trumpet
French Horn
Tuba
Flute
Piccolo
Trombone

If you can play one brass instrument, you can play them all. Woodwinds are god tier instruments and brass players worship you. Hurr durr how do I major scales from memory.

It would be cool to learn drums but I'd lose my place trying to keep the rhythm in both my hands and feet.

Yeah, same here, I could probably do both, but the moment I pay attention to what I'm doing...nope, there goes all sense of rhythm.

Yeah, they made us learn recorders back in elementary school, but only for the 4th/5th graders. 3rd grade me was so envious of the older kids being able to play it, especially since I'd happened to get one as a Christmas present not too long before. However, that instrument is now forever ruined in my mind because all I'll be able to think about is a classroom of kids with squeaky, plastic recorders. My ears hurt just even thinking about it.

I would be killer on the drums if I wasn't so timid with making loud noises. My dad says I would be great on them and he's been a musician for going on thirty years.

He's been playing guitar for... 28 years now? It's been about 10 or so he's been doing piano, I think. He's a real metalhead but has a taste for all non-pop genres. I personally like all genres with melody.

You should take them up then, Alex! If you can overcome your timidness, then playing an instrument is really great! :D

I've considered learning drums, before. I don't know, though, I've never been overly compelled to.

There isn't a minute of the day I'm not listening to music. More than playing any instrument all I can think of is listening to the best melodies... soaking in the raw, almost drug-like enjoyment and pleasure I get from the sound waves. I love listening to music. I love all kinds of melodies, as long as it's a good one.

my teacher was a kumquat.

is that a word I'm supposed to know or ;___;

I've played three instruments to the point where I don't kill people's ears. Piano, violin and flute. Though I'm super lazy when it comes to practicing so I don't play any of them anymore. Maybe I should get back into piano though, hm.

The only instrument I've laid hands on is a flute, and I was terrible. I've sung in a choir before, however, but that was years ago. I'm not very musically talented, I'm afraid. ;w;

Nathan, you should start playing again! There are countless videos online, and even just learning to pick a few chords and rhythms and practicing daily can make you an amazing guitarist in no time!
I personally am really picky about teachers, if I can be. Usually kumquats are filtered out, haha...

I almost got some bongos last summer, when I saw them on sale. I decided against it, though, since at the time I was focusing more on learning HTML. :/
