Yeah, the current topic is getting too tight right now, but I suppose we could get deeper into it over at the D&D when we get in the mood.

Anyway, not doing much. Being sarcastic to people here who's opinions I disagree with. Haggling with unemployment california over benefits. Starting school back up. Playing video games. Amusing myself in various ways. Starving to death from lack of funds. Trying to lose 80 pounds (10 so far, hooray!).

Fun times.

I don't think I agree with your signature Carchar, I think you don't have to be offensive to be funny. It is mostly American stand-up who act that way.

The only comedian who manages to be funny and non-vulgar and not come off like a PC prick about it is Weird Al Yankovic.

I'd say Jim Gaffigan isn't vulgar or aggresive, atleast what I've seen of him. David Mitchell doesn't really seem to offend people, and I don't think I've seen Eddie Izzard make some big fuzz about anything but human sacrifice. Most Dutch comedians don't do insults either. I agree that comedians have the right to be offensive, but if you need it to be funny, you aren't that talented.

Eh, I'll give them a shot, but I'm not keeping my hopes up.

Good comedy without vulgarity is rare and Weird Al Yankovic is one of the few people capable of pulling it off without coming across as being an asshole.

Good on you for the 10, Carchar! Keep pulling for the rest, you'll get there!

What games have you been playing?

Ral, I think the joke is actually that most Social Justice Workers are excessively concerned about being offensive and how what they say could be interpreted, and not that all humor is supposed to be offensive.

LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN. How are you all, lately?
Without a debate about comedy, please.

I've been playing Fallout: New Vegas, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and Fatal Frame II.

Here's my current Alpha Sapphire Team:

Pyrrha (female Combusken), Lvl 19
Imoen (female Ralts), Lvl 15
Señor Juan (male Poochyena) Lv 15
Mr. Slav (male Zigzagoon HM Slave) Lvl 14; yeah, I tried putting the "e" at the end, but apparently Nintendo thinks the word "slave" is offensive now.

it's so hard to not side-eye those who have a hard on for themselves because they don't like 'sjws'

Well, I don't know if you'd like them, as I think we have a different taste in comedy. They're mostly observational and absurdist. I don't think they shouldn't be vulgar, but I think it's a simple laugh to throw an extra fuck in a joke that was already good. I just hate it when people say humor is offensive, because it isn't always, it just can be.

I have been playing a lot of Town Of Salem, as it can be played very quickly. I quite enjoy it, although I get annoyed be the occasional roleplayer or the constant rape jokes. Luckily these guys seems to die quickly.

I just want to make it known, whoever it was who made the "Ignore" function on this site: I love you.

I'm great. I have a history exam in 4 hours, and I'm nervous. How about you guys?

Great, people, the OP says exactly how to DCC. And the rules too. Andy didn't rules for no reason, come on.

"Weird Al" Yankovich is pretty cool IMO. Family-friendly humour which isn't always overflowing with bullshit. For those with skin to speak of, see George Carlin. Our friend, the man. He was something else.

George Carlin, as well as other comedians, is the only person we should listen instead of the officials, because they know how the world works and how we should live our lives better through experience.
