Legends arceus was the first legends game after all, which means Z-A could be completely different, what are your thoughts?
Guesses largely no, given megas in the mix. Would not be surprised to see them test different mechanics for future mainline games, though. Speaks of something more of the vein of Frostbite, rather than Strong/Agile style.I wonder if they'll alter the moves again like they did in Legends: Arceus- it was a bit confusing for me for a while that often the moves did something slightly or completely different from what they usually do. Also, the Strong Style vs. Agile Style thing was a bit obnoxious- an opposing Pokémon getting to use multiple moves before you can even make a second move was bothersome, and completely disrupted the battling that I was used to. Lower level Pokémon (like 10-30) being able to deal serious damage to your 50/60+ team members didn't help either.
I'm hoping (like I posted somewhere else) that the advancement in the story isn't going to depend on Pokédex completion like Legends: Arceus was- especially with you having to do more to complete an entry than just catching a Pokémon. It was also obnoxious that you had to keep going back to Jubilife Village, rather than going from one location to the next- it wastes time and isn't very fun.
