There really should have been a "Your Top 3" choice, to determine the Top 3 Hacks, because there are only a few categories in this 2nd round, and some hacks excel in things not even listed on this round, or hacks are great overall, but they don't focus on one aspect like some of these hacks do. i.e; I think Genesis is a great hack, and should go to the Top 3, but when split into categories, it does not win any from me.

First of all if you (or anyone else for that matter) has a problem with anything to do with HotY PM me, don't post it in this thread. Do not reply to this, if you want to discuss further you can reach me via PM or on MSN. I'm only posting here so everyone else knows not to do this.

What other categories are you referring to? I chose those particular categories because they were easy to understand for people. People were meant to base their nominations in Round 1 on the hack they thought were "great overall". This round is meant to reward hacks that excel in particular areas above all others. Whether a hack that excels in only one aspect gets into the Top 10 was a decision made by the members of PC.

What people base their votes on for the various categories is not something we can affect. Unfortunately in a large community like this you will get people who take competitions like this far too seriously. Also, your opinion on which hack "deserves" a particular award does not necessarily reflect the opinion of the rest of the community.

The "Top 3" hacks were decided in Round 1, I made this very clear. If you didn't agree then you should have complained about it earlier. I appreciate that your idea would be a good one in more ideal circumstances. There are time constraints this year and limiting the time the judges have to review the Top 3 hacks even further is not a good idea.

SAw Congbu(I think that's it's name) recently and I love the maps and the graphics look quite good(Altho I can't find the thread in Hacks Showcase ATM), I've been a fan of Genesis ever since I saw it and Like all there is about it :)
