  • Some of the later ones were tough since I'm not too familiar with Gen 6+.

Gen 1: Tie between Raichu and Ninetales, might give the nod here to Ninetales since Raichu is bad in the official games but can be done very well in fan games.
Gen 2: Azumarill, one shooting most Pokemon was a big reason I like this line. I enjoy it most when it has the Fairy typing as well, though.
Gen 3: Gardevoir, although the Swampert line was cool too.
Gen 4: Mystery Dungeon made me like Yanmega, although Gallade is also cool.
Gen 5: I guess Emolga, it's a pretty cool concept imo.
Gen 6: Purely based on team strategy building, Klefki.
Gen 7: Alolan Raichu/Ninetales, but if alternate forms don't count, I'll pick Mimikyu for the same reason as Klefki in Gen 6.

  • Gen 1: Ditto
    Gen 2: Miltank
    Gen 3: Shedinja
    Gen 4: Arceus
    Gen 5: Victini
    Gen 6: Yveltal
Gen 7: Nebbycrozma Dawn Wings Necrozma

And if you don't want to count legendaries/mythicals...
    Gen 1: Ditto
    Gen 2: Miltank
    Gen 3: Shedinja
    Gen 4: Glaceon
    Gen 5: Zoroark
    Gen 6: Carbink
Gen 7: Uh...Most of the UBs, but those are sort of in the same 'class' as legendaries, so - I dunno, Mimikyu?
