find her yet? ✜ HOMESTUCK fanclub

sooooooooooooooooooooo

in other unrelated homestuck news but might interest you

Undertale, which is some indie steam rpg, is actually made by Toby Fox, who if you don't know makes most of the Homestuck songs, and I heard from sources that there are some HS references in it, which is cool...

okay this is just a ploy to not let the club die but i guess this could do?

Gunner you are sooo late to the news hahaha.

Then again I only knew of it after like, 5 hours into the game.

I just finished homestuck! YAY!

I also now have a new theme featuring the mayor!

You can't put a Pyrope and a spider ***** in the credits together and not expect it to be a Homestuck reference.

aaaaand we're in GE now it seems :(

tbh ive been meaning to get into undertale but with my internet connection, and finances, its hard for me to get the game and see all of them homestuck references imo :P

On the topic of Undertale, there's actually not that many HS references which I caught on to? I knew Toby Fox was involved before I even picked up the game but I guess I didn't really go hunting for the HS references when I did. Don't regret it though, the game didn't really need them.

Fun fact: Muffet/spidergirl was actually a character made by someone on kickstarter who helped fund the game. I'm guessing Toby made the correlation and added Pyrope after the fact, haha.

The possibility of Pyrope being a Homestuck ref is the only one I noticed, but it's very loose and stands on its own; that is,"Pyre + Rope" for a pyro-explosive with a rope detonator, to be named after a red gemstone.

A similarity between the two works I like is how the stage of battle is treated as a physical thing that can be broken.
Spoiler:
Stuff like that and the HP Bars moving around is something that I miss seeing in Homestuck.

(Or actually I think I just miss seeing Homestuck in general. ;_; )

I miss Homestuck so much that I might just re-read it over the Christmas holidays ;; Not that I'm getting much of a holiday but still.

this is weird, so weird

let's give them some privacy
