Woo! Megan and Fuyu are both back, what a wonderful day.

Welcome Ace, you should have no problem finding yourself a Roleplay here, there are so many nice and creative people here you're almost guaranteed to have fun.
 
It depends on interest and time. Sometimes players end up having to deal with irl things such as school. Since some regs here are finishing up with school things and such, this means the 'Corner will be a lot active again. :D

However, by personal experience, sandbox roleplays like Pokemon Trainer Academy and SAO tend to go pretty fast-paced sometimes, while others that are chaptered tend to go a little slow.

New blood and some returnees! :3 welcome everyone. I hope everyone is enjoying this months challenge, I keep hearing rumours of groups so I hope that's a good sign!

It has been a little slower around here this last month, but as Megan said - schools will be closing for summer soon! So in 6-8 weeks I'm sure we'll be back on form :).

Ooh Unova journey! We haven't really had many there (or poor, neglected Kalos) sounds good Megan/Chilli!
 
@Everybody: I have a small announcement to make. As life is practically killing me right now I've decided to take break from Roleplaying for a while. This will give me more time to focus on other things and stop myself from being too stressed out. I won't be totally out of PC but only from this certain forum.

So hope to see you very soon guys.

@G-Dog I've been a lot of both Pokemon and non-Pokemon roleplays in the past, but it seems the ones I have the most fun writing in are non-Pokemon. SAO, Naruto, A Tale of Heroes, and Reapers were all amazing roleplays. It's not that I don't like Pokemon, it's just I love original ideas and the sort.

In all honesty, I prefer Pokemon roleplays where there are brief bits of intense action and lots of places to build up plot and such, like SV's Odyssey or Greiger's Shattered Era. I don't really like to play as trainers that much, but when I do I prefer it to be a serious roleplay where the Pokemon you have are your brothers-in-arms, so to speak.
 
I like both... BUT I don't like playing a run of the mill trainer. I seem to have to have a character who can do something for themselves instead of just ordering their animal slaves to do their dirty work :p
 
I actually prefer Pokemon RPs, but that's because I haven't divulged much into "fantasy" roleplays myself like I wanted to.

as i'm writing this I just hatched an idea for a "fantasy" Pokemon roleplay but aaah I wanna deal with Unovan Tale first lmao.

I'm tempted to make a Kalos RP, but while I have the freetime to GM, I don't have the patience. So someone else can do it. :P Just whoever does make it, please don't be stingy with the starters. >_>The character I have in mind for a future Kalos RP is a Fairy type trainer, and I'd like to have Cleffa.

I actually prefer Pokemon over anything else. Pokemon is the fandom I've been part of for the longest, and it's the one I'm the most familiar with. So it's easy to make characters for that world.
 
@Magic - Well I sometimes think that I might make a Kalos sequel/spiritual successor to the Hoenn Diaries if it finishes

@<Challenger> - You were in Reapers? What's your old username I have no idea who you are xD

Also, I have no preference towards pokemon or non-pokemon. If the storyline is appealing to me, the GM(s) sound(s) good and I can think of a cool character I'll join.

If anything, other roleplays tends to interest me more than Pokemon-themed roleplays. It's fun to be in a Pokemon roleplay, but many times I want something more than just what I'm used to [he says as he's making a character for Unovan Tale].

Speaking of Kalos, I would totally like to see a reboot of Cafe Rouge if someone has time, it seemed like it would've been great if we had gone farther.

I've found that I enjoy focusing on a single, or maybe 2, RPs rather than join more than that. I guess it's different for each and every one of us, depending on our lifestyles.

I prefer pokémon RPs, haha, probably because I'm a sucker for journeys. But it will be really fun to be part of a digimon RP now (digidestined).
 
I like either Pokemon or Other RP's, for me it's based on the story and what you get to do

If someone were to make a roleplay where a character could use a boomerang as a weapon, that would be greatly appreciated...I'm in a boomerangy sort of mood.
