You should all go see my Twitter. My latest round of tweets are me taking my anger out on 2016.

Can't wait to see the longest-ever In Memoriam list in our lives.

I just found out today that Sydney's New Year's Eve fireworks display is going to be honouring some of the lost icons.

My home city is making its iconic night into a tribute as well!

unfortunately expiration of one's mortal coil doesn't end on January 1, 2017
we're gonna keep seeing stuff like this

I could see 2017 have its clusterfuck of celebrity deaths as well, but I feel we might have less than what we got this year for some reason.

I always seek out video of the coat hanger fireworks show. Never fails to amaze.

Adri's right. 2016 may have a lot of notable deaths, but it's definitely not going to end there. People are getting older, and as people are getting older, there's always that worry about what direction their health is going to take.

It's such a painful truth, but a truth nonetheless. .__.

we're at a very sad crossroads

1. debbie reynolds' generation dropping off incredibly fast
2. baby boomers reaching the average end of their lifespan
3. people who went hard (re: sex, drugs & rock'n'roll) in the '70s/'80s having their lifestyles catch up with them due to the inevitable toll upon their body
4. the exponential level of famous people from generation to generation will mean that more and more deaths will be noted and felt from the public

harsh times

I'm devestated over losing Carrie Fisher. And now Debbie Reynolds? This is too much. We've lost so many icons this year. This is a horrible year.

Not only because of losing public icons who I admired (Prince, Bowie, Carrie...) but I also lost my grandma and my dog of 11 years.

Will 2017 be better? I hope so.

I'm hoping 2017 would be better. I've been through a hardship, and I'm slowly building my way up. It's just been too depressing. :(

Adriana has a point. 2016 is marking the end of an age, where we're losing the baby boomers generation more rapidly than ever. Don't be surprised if a lot more people born during that era start to fall like dominoes.

Here's an adorable video to make everyone feel better.

My kitten died this year and I just watched a dog get ran over in front of my eyes. I even got appendicitis, and I have to quit my Taekwondo lesson. My dog bit my hand when I pat it. This year is the sh*ttiest year of my life.

Bye, 2016! You won't be missed!

Except December 24. That was the wildest night of my life.

In other news, I finally got my new 3DS! It's a black New 3DS XL that I got for $249 AU at EB Games, and it came with an Amiibo as part of the deal. Got the Isabelle (of Animal Crossing fyi) Amiibo by the way.
