Yeah. It was an interview after a car crash, basically like that guy who's name is non-existent, cept I was a victim, so I got much more time.

I remember a few years ago that our school had a commercial, and I was one of the extra's, It was really hilarious because I even don't know that someone was shooting us! XDD;

I was on the 6 a.m fox news last year for choir. My friend made All-State and the camera crew came in after school during rehersal and caught me singing. But I was only shown for like 10 seconds xD

I was on TV briefly during a ESPN college game for my school, Gonzaga vs Memphis in the Battle in Seattle. It was in a "neutral" location so the students were behind the basket rather than alongside the court like normal. My mom taped the game and looked for us while she watched from home, lol. She even took a picture and put it in a calender!

When I was... seven, I think? Around then. Well, anyway, I played my first piano competition ever and came in first place. :D I was interviewed by the local news, but I can't remember what they asked me, haha. Unfortunately, I didn't actually live in the district for that news station, so I never got to see myself on television. :( It was a pretty sweet experience nevertheless.

Yeah, when I was like... 6 years old, my Dad left for a year because he's in the military.

When he came back, (I was 7 by then) the News decided to interview our family about how it was with him gone.

I remember being scared of the cameras and hiding behind a book I had been reading when they arrived. I think I had forgotten they were coming.

Then they decided to do a close up of me and say "When he left, she could barely read... Look at her now!"

That's the only line I remember from the actual showing of it on TV. I remember I was insulted at the time because "I've always been a good reader! >:"

Technically I have been on TV. But I was one of those people that tend to "pass by" a reporter's live report. xD It has happened to me twice in my life.

Overall, I'd like to be on TV. It's what I'm studying!

The shame of me saying it now but... I was on a TV program called 'Songs of Praise' when I was in secondary school.
I was in the school choir and we were asked to go there. So when they were filming it, they just asked people to be normal and such.

ZOMG same! I was in a Choir but not for school and they asked my choir to go to a church and sing. It was on some TV show somewhat like 'Songs of Praise' but I can't remember - Some show where they film a bunch of choirs singing. I might have been around 8 or 9 at the time... though apparently I missed it when it went on TV.

Apart from that I have been on TV several times. 3 years ago I was on this national competition where I had to do event such as Kayak. Rock Climb, Orienteer and Bike. I wasn't interviewed that day but I have a few shots of me running, biking and waving to the camera lolz

My dad was on the News more recently, he's a taxi Driver. They were doing a report on Texting while driving and there was a part about how this rule would be hard for the communication of taxi Drivers. They told my dad to just pretend to talk on his Radio XD

I've been on TV a few times, actually.. mostly for art or school related things.. interviews and such..

And I've also "technically" been broadcasted on TV since I've worked at a studio that makes animated commercials.. but yeah.. since the field that I'm graduating into is the media entertainment one.. you will probably see "me" onscreen quite a bit haha.. but not really "me".. just my work lol.

Yes.
There was this kid that was always riding his bicycle dangerously without ever being alert to cars. One day he got hit pretty bad by one and the tv crews came to film and report about it. I saw myself for about 2 seconds in the crowd.

Also I don't know if this counts but I once sent a message to a tv show and they read it and said my name.

Not really. They showed me in the audience of Regis and Kelly when they were panning the audience but that's it. XD

Never been in a commercial, but I'd like to know what it feels to see yourself on the television.

Yeah I experienced something similar to you. I sent in a question to an Australian TV show "Good Game Spawn Point" on ABC3. I had sent in a question about evolving Eevee in Pokemon SoulSilver to the "Ask Good Game" segment of the show. I had never sent anything to a TV show before. I just can't believe that Bajo and Hex (the Good Game hosts) actually read my question. If you want to know what the date was, it was on October 30th 2010.

I almost was, but just barely missed out. In 3rd or 4th grade, my school had planned a field trip to see a mime show or something, but I was sick and couldn't go. Later that day, we were watching the news, and I saw one of my classmates being interviewed about the show and I was like "THAT'S NOT FAIR! Why'd I have to be sick? I could have been on TV...;-;" So yeah, almost, but not quite. XD

I was on the local news once when I was about 6, I think? My primary school was organising a 'walk to school' week which must have revolutionary enough at the time to warrant some coverage. Essentially, it involved a load of fake, expository shots of a group of us just walking in and out of school. One of my classmates was interviewed about something or other, but it was a human interest piece so the question couldn't have been too hard.

There was also the chance I nearly got to appear in an advert for an electricity company when I was about 10/11. I entered a competition to come up with ideas to save energy, got through to the final at some TV studios but got rejected at the last minute. The good thing about that was the advert was a steaming pile of crap - and is probably on YouTube somewhere - so it's probably best I didn't get through.

Nowadays, I try and avoid the camera. News crews often come and film at my university (especially recently, as it's been found out there's been links to Libya going on), especially when heads of state/other famous people give lectures, but I normally run like the wind whenever the camera is pointed in my direction.

Yeah, I have. I got to be on this kids' variety show called Sticky TV or something when I was 13 because I won a spelling bee. I got to sit on the couch with the hosts for twenty minutes or so, which was weird because we were outside. They had to put makeup on me and everything.
