I can totally emphasize. Our yard gets a combination of hornets/horse flies.

Most of the time it means running inside because it's not worth getting bitten by these things.

every time i tell people i rarely encounter mosquitos they never believe me

dragonflies are rampant around my area so it's natural that mosquitos want to stay away from them. and i don't really go outside a whole lot to begin with, so there's that, too. c:

Ah mosquitoes. We close our widows once the sun sets so it isn't a problem after that. But at my friend's place you'd neet mosquito nets to sleep peacefully at night.

Well,I also use them at night,But currently, It's dengue season in my country.So,I'm afraid in the daytime.

That said, do not leave fruit out, make sure it's in the fridge or a container. Fly lights and sticky traps may help too.

Nope,I already killed many of those small ones.But it's a drag to kill them one by one and using too much Energy will destroy them all,It will be a problem for the world as they take part to Balance world by killing people via Dengue/Maleria and so on.

Buy some insecticide foggers, Find a day when everyone in your house can get out of it for a few hours, and set them off in the house. That should kill all the ones in your house and cause any that try to enter for a while to die. We do that in my house a couple times a year, though more as a general "no bugs allowed in the house" sort of thing.

you also don't have to worry about balance there's plenty of things that can keep the human population down
