    Kudos if you got the thread title. Is there anyone that you wonder why you even still talk to them? My friend just texted me like 'what apartment were you at in park place?' and I told her it was 5 and she was all 'aha I'm literally in your old apartment rn' and I'm like 'haha nice' even though like I actually don't give a shit alright lol. And I asked 'are you visiting or living there?' and she was like 'they said you left fleas here' LIKE GIRL DID I ASK.................AND NO I DIDN'T LEAVE NO FLEAS THERE THE CATS WERE MEDICATED AND DIDN'T HAVE THEM STEP OFF ME. She says stupid back handed stuff like this all the time though and I'm literally always like 'lmfao why do I still talk to you...'

    SO YEAH do you have anyone in your life like that?
     
    I have one friend that regularly does meth and heroin, talks shit about everyone and stole over $120 from one of my other friends. Always depressed and killing the vibe. I don't think I'm gonna hang with him ever again.

    ya. definitely. its kinda tough bc the person this is most relevant with was a really close friend of mine and she still thinks were close even though she says shit about me all the time which is pretty rough. im trying to distance myself but its kinda tough
     
    Pfft yeah. My old friends seem to care about nothing but weed and coke anymore. One of em still doesn't have his license because he never has any money for some reason. Wonder why.

    I don't really talk to them anymore. Unfortunately that means I don't really talk to anyone offline in my free time as no one else shares any interests with me at all.

    God I need to move out of here...
     
    there's one or two people i know that seem to still be the same person they were five years ago, but in a really bad way. person x was a really core part of my friend group a long way back, but we've all grown up whereas they haven't. on top of that they've started a year-long fight with someone that's still one of my best friends, and they get attached to females on a really creepy level and then doesn't understand why they leave him.

    i'm mostly looking through this thread because i want to find tips on how to distance yourself from people, but distancing yourself from someone who can't take a hint for their life, and on top of that is in school with you, really does seem impossible. at least it'll be over soon?
     
    At this point in time, this is effectively everyone I know.
     
    I tend to more have the problem of other people wondering why I still talk to certain people (or did; most recent person in that position cut me out again for some reason, and I am so done at this point). Usually if a person's gotten me to the point of me personally wondering "why do I still talk to them?", then that's also the point where I just won't talk to them anymore because I just don't want to/can't deal with the stress they give me. So I can't really say I have anybody like that.

    In this case, when I angrily stare at my phone and don't text back. BUT STAY BITTER ABOUT IT. Aggressive ignoring could probably also be like. DEEP DEEP DENIAL. Like aggressively ignoring how back Taco Bell is for me but eating it anyway.

    idk i have a few of the friends that are annoying like that. i don't really have a specific story, but unfortunately some of the people I live with are like this :X
