Actually I got a quick question about the thread monopolization thing. Would that include things like back-and-forths that I typically do? Sometimes they tend to go on for a while and I'm typically the one to keep them going, so I just wanna know for certain if that's something I can continue to do or not.

It's easy to burn yourself out when you try to engage with more than you can stem. I can relate to this a lot, as well. Glad to see you're doing alright! ^-^

I definitely overcompensated, haha. To be honest, I tried to be super social and talk to a lot of people because I was pretty lonely regarding something in my life, then when that started getting better everything was thrown out of whack because I suddenly didn't have the energy or time for it all anymore. Then I started to get worried I wasn't talking to people enough and stuff went downhill from there, so I definitely burned myself out, and rather quick.

That's normally the kind of thing I've tried to keep open to myself so that sounds like it'd make things better for me actually, I dropped stuff like Gender Race for cause it was just a lagfest with not a whole lot else going on, having them feel more... social, I guess, sounds like a lot of fun. I feel like this site is like, the last place I'd expect to have difficult to follow or limiting rules. I say it a lot but this place is super inviting and accepting.

Loving yourself can be very hard (can relate). It means to accept your flaws and work hard on those you want to change. Of course, that's usually easier said than done. But you're still young so you will get plenty of opportunities to improve your self image.
I would more radical here, if those self-image struggles are caused by other people, I would recommend you no longer talk to them at all, be they friends or family or whatever.
I appreciate it! But no, they're pretty much all internal. Like as an example, I had one of those days recently where I looked in the mirror and just thought I looked ugly. If someone else has a negative opinion I'm usually pretty okay just accepting that and being fine with it. The people I care about are different as well of course, but they're always kind to me and I like to think I've surrounded myself with good people.
With the thing that hit me hard, the worst of it definitely happened yesterday. There was a pretty big issue that was resolved (for the most part) by a lack of communication and I got a good chance to sit down and talk things out after I took the day to relax and everything. Things feel way better with that now, which can hopefully contribute to bettering my self-image.
I usually like to think I'm really good with keeping my spirits up about that stuff, but everyone needs a chance to loosen up and let the feelings out, right?
