I'm cooking up a nice dinner and you are all invited!

I don't usually cook, occasionally if I feel upto it but it's my parents who are in charge of the cooking. However they have just today gone on holiday for a week, so I guess it's upto me to do all the cooking eh!

Cooking's fun because I primarily cook for myself so I can cook anything I want. If I'm not tired from work or if I have the day off then I'll take my time and make something halfway decent, but most of the time I just don't have the energy to cook a full meal so I either make something cheap or eat ice cream.

usually I Just let my parents cook everything for me. though lately I have been getting this strange urge to learn how to fix pizza. Fixing pizza lunchables is fun so whynot lol

I don't really like cooking, it's kind of a lot of work. I am good at making food from a box lol. Anything simple with easy instructions is doable for me. Im better at baking because it's a more exact science so to speak.

Do you like to cook?

When it comes to eating your favorite dishes, do you like to cook them or would you rather have someone else make them for you? If you are a fan of cooking, what are some of your favorite things to make? Who taught you how to cook?

I like cooking! I can do dumplings, steak, and salmon. Stirfrying is an all-purpose technique that works for basically any ingredient. I learned how to do dumplings from the packaging, steak from my mom, and salmon from Gordon Ramsay. The skin crisps every time 8D

I can't cook. I mean, I suppose I could follow instructions but if I had to use my own initiative, I'd fall flat on my face.

I would love to have someone cook things for me. I must have some kind of cooking disability that makes it nearly impossible for me to cook anything more than pasta. I actually find cooking really stressful. :/

Aww you find it stressful? I am quite the opposite actually. I find cooking to be one of the most relaxing activities out there and it is something that I just love to do to pass time when I am bored or to relieve some stress that is weighing on my mind. Often times I am the one who fixes dinner because my parents both work late so I have developed a natural talent and love for it. My mom taught me how to cook growing up from around age 5 until now and I am so happy that she did. My favorite thing though to make is homemade desserts such as cakes and pies.

I get, idk if this is the right word, but bored doing stuff like boiling water for pasta. I just have no motivation to cook. If that means I'm selfish for enjoying the food of others, so be it haha.

I love to cook when I feel like it.
I made a Spiced Apple Cake today:

I know how to cook, but not because I love to, it's because I have to.
I would prefer to order something already done for me every day, but I can't afford it, so I do it myself.
Fortunately, I have a husband who knows how to cook too, so we switch this task every day, unless there are exceptions, like me having to solve a Programming problem before the deadline, or my husband overworking because a criminal escapes from his/her arrest.

My favourite stuff to cook are more Pasta-based, such as Spaghetti, Noodles, Wok, Kebab with Bami, and some other simple and yet tasty stuff.
And if nobody wants to cook nor order something, we still have Pizza.

How well I can cook depends on whether or not I use the internet while cooking/preparing the food. I tend to forget that I'm cooking. D: I've overcooked meals that way, but never started any fires haha. Well, not yet, at least.

If I actually pay attention, I can cook pretty well, apparently. I tend to be kind of lazy and avoid making anything too complicated, but not always.
I avoid certain things in food (dyes, preservatives, etc.), so I sometimes have to make food from scratch, if I can't find any that lacks the mentioned ingredients. On the upside, now I know that I'm capable of making a pie from scratch. I:

I cook homemade meals every night! I can only eat heat and ready foods every so often or else I feel sick. Frozen foods such as corn or dough, is fine though. But I'm talking like TV dinners. Those gross me out ;__;

I enjoy cooking very much. Baking as well. I find them both very enjoyable and non stressful. I love cooking for people ^^
