Chit-Chat: In the midnight hour, she cries because she's sad and alone and just a little pathetic.

I guess you weren't kidding about being as clumsy as me XD We still love you ( ˘ ³˘)♥
I mean, tbf, I was drunk. :I I grabbed onto a hookah pipe to steady myself. Very bad idea.
I apologize if I'm not thinking about this, but why on earth would your mother dislike the fact that you have a burnt hand, Dipu? o.o
And, well, I think I'm more worried about how the hell I would explain what happened.

That reminds me of that time I flat out walked right into a closed glass door, face first. My mother and sister laughed their asses off, but I was… less than amused. :P

…Khilia's got me worried sick. She was supposed to be on until noon or so my time and hasn't been on anywhere since 6AM my time, coupled with some things that have happened recently with her… I have every reason to worry. Ugh. D:

Am I the only one here who is frankly appalled that Dipu's place of employment allow him to show up to work drunk?

Shocking, tbqh.

That's a good point, Limey. And he works with children too D: Oh, the horror.

Sometimes I think that you work much better with kids when you're drunk. I mean, it makes me much more like a kid and much less stressed about doing the wrong thing.

General you obviously, not "Vanille Sky, you should get drunk and play with children"

Or you could be like that normally :D I know that not everyone likes being around kids, but personally, seeing kids makes me less stressed right off the bat.

I wouldn't say that working with kids while drunk is morally correct though. I think you could easily lose track of one of the kids because your senses wouldn't be at it's peak. That being said, yeah, that's actually really odd that they allow you to come in drunk (unless they're just oblivious to your state or you have amazing composure while drunk haha.)

Agreeing with this, because being drunk does impair you, hence why some people tend to be crazy behind the wheel if they're drunk. I mean, it doesn't stop you from fully thinking, but it could still cause you to go crazy as a result of the intoxication.

Well I mean working probably not, but only because it's work and you have responsibilities. I would assume someone working with kids is more like Vanille though and enjoys kids, not like me, where any kid that shows any affection towards me makes me freeze up.

Amusing anecdote: this past fall when I left home to go back to college, my family friend's 6 year old asked my mother where I had gone. She told him I went back to school. He said "but I thought she was a grownup!" Ah, young one, you are so misguided...I'm about as far from a grownup as he is.

Why do you have such an uneasiness towards kids, if you don't mind me asking? They're absolutely wonderful little demons delights in my opinion. ~

Well, to be quite honest, I only enjoy kids up until probably the age of 5 when they start becoming nasty little buggers >>;; I honestly do not want to deal with teenagers XD I've already seen plenty of them walking around, and I am constantly shaking my head at them. There are the quiet, reserved, responsible ones, but I frequently see ones that are the complete opposite, and it makes me wonder what their parents are like...

I've had a disdain for children since I can remember. By that you can infer that I have always been incredibly annoyed by them, particularly ones my age. As I've gotten older it's plateaued to a tolerable level, although there's things that they still don't get and I look at them like Jack Sparrow did when he asked why the rum was gone. :/

I've honestly never had to work around children, but for some odd reason, I've always wanted to just to see the experience. I mean, I don't really see how we could hate children, considering how we used to be children at one point in time. @_@
Well, in my experience I remember being so intellectually ahead of my peer group while being so far behind them socially. In first grade I read at a 6th grade level and in 6th grade I read at a college freshman level, so I think you can understand how frustrating it would be to have to sit and do circle time and do a cut-paste thing every Wednesday as opposed to sitting at home browsing System32 out of curiosity and fiddling around with the file type editor on the computer. It was a weird balance, since I had zero skills to handle those frustrations at the time. Luckily I've come leaps and bounds socially since then, but the annoyance remains, in silence. :P
