Chit-Chat: In the midnight hour, she cries because she's sad and alone and just a little pathetic.

Me and the other guy were trying to merge into the same lane simultaneously. The other guy claims that he was already in the lane, which is not true because I felt him bump into my car. It really is a 99% "**** happens" (as the police aptly put) situation.

I tried to say that but then he interrupted me in the middle of the sentence like a dick, which meant he wasn't willing to listen, so at that point I just stopped trying to reason with him because that was clearly going to go nowhere. I'll probably get a call from my insurance company tomorrow, and then I can finally tell them the full story.

Man, interrupting is such a pet peeve of mine. It's even worse because I interrupt someone to point out something that they would miss otherwise, like a turn in the car or something we're passing, and they get snippy, but they do it to me all the time and I don't because I know if they didn't interrupt me at that point I would have missed it.

Maybe I hate double standards more than interruption...

Leo did rather well in Catch Me If You Can. I loved that mentally-♥♥♥♥ed maverick personality they had him play, being a master of bank fraud in the crooked hope of mending the severed relationship between him and his parents. It touched both my intellectual and emotional sides rather well, and I liked that. The ending was neat, too. :3

Well, you know what the C&M forum can do?

I just realized yesterday that .NET 4.5 doesn't work on XP. I am now solemnly beholden to steal their source code and compile it into the earliest version possible for my own use on other archaic operating systems.

Also, my school basically re-images the whole hard drive at boot time, which is a bit of a double-sided coin; you lose all your bookmarks and data and settings and files, but at the same time there's no trace of your history or anything left behind… good or not. :P

This catch-all DCC in a catch-all forum doesn't really exclude talking about things that *could* go in other sections, last I recall. Sorry Zach, sorry Dave, but looks like not a power in the verse can stop us.

You guys can steal our Trade Corner discussion anytime. We drift off topic every five seconds, anyway.

And looking at that title, now I kinda want some peanuts.
