Uhm, I'm not really sure what you're trying to convey. Are you talking particularly about PC Gift Cards? I don't know about other countries but in our country, one can get some sort of VIP access via gift cards, too (which is what a "PC Supporter" essentially is).

I don't even know what a PC Gift Card is haha. I was talking about how a few posts back Alex said that he spent like $50 and donated it to PC in other peoples' names and now they're supporters even though it's Alex's money. that just doesn't make much sense to me.

like it's a nice gesture though.
 
So if you wan to donate to someone else, do you have to do it through the "gift card" method? Or could you literally just pay the x amount of dollars and PM Rukario and be like "I payed to have this person be Supporter Tier x?"
 
I used instant transfer from a bank account via PayPal and told Steve via PM "$15 to twocows, $10 to Genesis, $15 to KhiliaGro, and $10 to Luck Hax." Since I'm already maxed out as a supporter I just give other people supportership. :)

Also what is this gift card madness I have not heard of this


...Maybe I should try it, idk. George is pissed that I donated to him and I think twocows rejected the supportership, and Khilia is just really passive about it… :s
 
^why would anyone reject supportership? remember that you don't have to be italic green or have the green supporter userbar to show off as a supporter.

I'm 1/2 way to becoming Tier 6, but I'm not rushing at this time.
 
I'm Tier 5, and I'm perfectly fine with that. Although I wouldn't mind going to six. If I do, I'm probably going to take my time; that way I'll reach it without donating a whole lot at once.
 
I don't think I would ever be able to get to tier 6. Well, at least not right now. :( Don't have enough money to spare for my own self, so, yeah. If I'm still here in two - three years time, then I might consider.
 
I'm content with what I have right now :) I may want some more, and I would like to give some more, but I don't have the money really :p maybe when I'm riiiiiich
 
Tier 6 is a hidden tier for, as you know, people who donate $100 or more. I understand why there are so few of them, though. It's quite a bit to fork over, and I myself don't see me having that kind of money very often, let alone for that. :>
 
So besides the upped title, what other benefits do you get in being a Tier 6 supporter? I'm just curious because I understand that it's a great way to support the community and all but...I mean, I hope they at least get some other perk out of donating, as it's quite a substantial amount of money.

I guess this question would be more for [supporter]Alex[/supporter] or [supporter]Team Fail[/supporter], as they are Tier 6 Supporters (unless anyone else just knows, then feel free to answer away)

Don't quote me on this, but it's my understanding (being a looooong time lerker) that I think it's a bigger avatar (170x170), unlimited album space and 4 megapixel pictures, 2K to 4K PM space (again, not sure), and after that I guess it's all status or w/e. That's from what I've read. It seems to be enough to me tbh :p

There are actually also hidden perks! I'd tell you what they are, but... well, they're hidden. Audy said so himself that he wants people to discover them for themselves. =D

IMO the tier 6 bars haven't looked pretty since supporters were blue. Then again, I use text ranks myself, so… yeah. :B
