Hey there!

I might be getting an IMac soon. Really looking forward to it.:) Although there's the fact that I currently have a Lenovo with Windows XP.....;-;

iMac! I contemplated getting one about a month ago because I was deciding whether on getting an entire desktop or just the Thunderbolt monitor; the latter, when sold alone, is 27" which is way too large for my desk and comfort @.@ The former though, was more expensive, and I already own a MacBook so there wasn't a point in purchasing yet another computer to my collection. I opted for the frameless 23" ASUS monitor instead for $250 :3 Don't regret the decision at all~

I have a fairly high end laptop I bought in 2012 that's still at a decently high standard today.

Also I got introduced to this song today in my German class, pretty cool.

I owned a Mac that was a hand-me-down about 8 years ago, but I don't have it anymore. It was really difficult to get used to, and I'd like to learn more about Macs, but I've always used Windows, and when I next I get a new comp.. it'll probably be a Windows system, too. xD;

I use an iPhone, buuuut that's barely the same as a Mac computer. .w.

I have an iPhone and I love it. I have decided that my next laptop will be a macbook, because i need more exposure.

bring on da haytahs.

My perspective on Apple and Macintosh in general is akin to both the perspective of the Windows user and the Linux user in this picture:
Spoiler:

How about me and my current laptop? I spent nearly $1000 on it, just from getting the actual laptop, a protection plan and a new case. And I used my money, not my parents' money for this.
Cool, but why not spend the same amount of money on a build like this that does all that and more, and also has a ton more horsepower and storage capabilities even with the comfort of your trackpad and a WNIC?

By the way, I'm also spending about $280 on this build as a replacement computer for this crappy notebook of mine, and I'm going to name her to be the Golden Cougar in thought of her purpose and capabilities as a budget PC. Her processor is an Intel Core i3-4330 at 3.5GHz (because 3.4GHz didn't seem like enough and 3.6GHz seemed like overkill, and it's combined clock speed is a nice 7GHz), but isn't included in the build because my aunt has it as a belated birthday present. And, I'm spending all of my own money on her too. My mother owes me $280 that she spent on a speeding ticket and bills and whatnot, and if I don't pay for her with that money it'll likely be coming out of my paycheck from my summer job, so I'm paying for her no matter how it turns out! :)

I wish I had that kind of spare money to spend. I just spent £500 paying off a holiday and the rest of my cash from my part time job just goes towards driving expenses and food. :(

I wish I had any money to spend :/
Or better said, an idea what I could spend any money on

So I just got a message that I became a PC supporter out of nowhere

Now I'm genuinely staring at my screen because I don't remember ever having done anything to be one (ergo donating money or such)
o_o
I guess I'm just a casualty of a misunderstanding/misapprehension or such

Turns out that it was a gift from Alex. Anyways congrats on gaining supportership. Also I became a PC supporter yesterday when I donated money.

I don't think any college freshman has a thousand dollars to impulse-buy a laptop and it actually not be debt of some sort. Am I wrong?

Well, to be honest, my sister was generous enough to randomly gift me with $1000 before going into university, and I haven't really spent it; wouldn't consider that student debt :P And I've been saving up all the biweekly allowances for nothing XD There's nothing particularly of interest that would cause me to impulse buy.

XD That happened to me as well when Cordelia donated in my name. Was certainly a surprise, and initially thought it was a complete mistake on the administrative side.

....can I have your sister as my sister? xD

Honestly if I were you, set that aside and just use that for school books. They're a real pain in the arse to pay for and that alone can get you through 4-5 semesters if used correctly.

Alrighty change of subject, if you could be any animal in the world, what would you be and why?

Khilia, you, twocows, Genesis, and Luck Hax all split $50 of mine because why the hell not. Today's my mother's payday and she's the type of person to just spend her money until it's gone, so I took the liberty of using my PayPal on PC to give you guys a bump up before her account hits rock bottom like it does by about Sunday.

My laptop is a 6 year old Dell that somehow still works, I don't really use it much though in favor of my PC.

I have a question, what's the point of distinguishing who's a PC supporter and who's not when it's not them supporting PC at all and just someone else doing it in their name in some cases?
