Sleeping is better than cartoons lol

That's why I never actually woke up for it; it defeated the purpose of relaxing to force myself to wake up to watch TV!

Saturday morning cartoons were the best thing to watch to start off my weekend back when I was younger.

I didn't watch cartoons as a kid, really. :( And then I get scolded for never watching Spongebob in my life.

I don't even like the show after having seen it, to be totally honest.

Unfortunately for you, you're speaking heresy. Fortunately for you, however, is that I am not much of a fan of the bobbed sponge, either.

Anything that I get a "YOU'VE NEVER SEEN THIS?!?!" reaction to I usually end up disliking. Maybe part of it is that I feel like it's condescending to tell me I will like something when I have no idea whether I'll like it, or the pressure that comes with feeling like I have to like it. Idk. Maybe I'm just a hipster.

Ugh no, Spongebob was one of the shows that made me feel nauseous just by listening to it or watching it. Another such was Teddy's big blue house or whatever it was called.

I loved that show! My favorite as a kid though was the few episodes of Crashbox I could watch. God I'm a nerd.

Wasn't a Saturday morning cartoon but does anyone remember Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends?

edit: oh my god molly. always freaked me out idk why

I liked Adventure Time for the first few episodes and then after the first season it started getting a little too ♥♥♥♥ed up, even for me. Fosters was kinda the same way, it started out silly in a healthy manner then went sour.

Adventure Time is okay I guess. It was when I got into the fandom for the first time and I watched everything, but then I just got bored of it only to where I watch it when new episodes come on.

I've seen many episodes of Fosters, but it's been so long that I may have forgotten how the show was. I do remember how selfish Bloo was though.

Cartoons in general were never really my thing. I think I might like anime if I gave it a chance, but I never seem to find time. :c

I have other stuff to do, sadly. I might this week, though! Only thing I have planned all week is soccer.

I remember I was four years old when Foster's premiered. Back then my dad and I lived with his friend Toast and his son Zane and him and I were glued to the TV, especially considering Ed, Edd, and Eddy came on right after.

I'm not even sure if they had Fridays back then. It pissed me off when they started changing it all around to every other day of the week they could think of… like, seriously. Friday worked. Kids were off from school for the week and could stay up. Nobody has time to watch cartoons all night long on a Wednesday. :|

I'm sure it's money-based - they can get more money by doing something else late on Fridays, and people will still stay up enough on Wednesday to make it worth it. I always thought cartoons on weekday nights were cool because when I could stay up to see them I felt super cool.
