Same! I made my full army of elite soldiers, or of death robots ^^, in the base, then unleashed it to crush anyone in the way under its might!

I liked playing Empire Earth because you started in ancient times and by the end you have robots =P
Haven't played it in a while though.

I've played Age Of Empires for a really long time.
AoE1 & 2 that is, AoE3 just never had the same appeal to me.
AoM was good too, but I didn't play it nearly as much.

The C&C series also hogged a lot of playtime from me. C&C Tiberian Sun & C&C 3 in particular.

I've never played Animal Crossing, but have seriously considered picking it up multiple times... Might actually happen one day =D

Animal Crossing makes such a great 'background' game.

I like listening to podcasts while playing it. Animal Crossing requires so little focus.

I also go turtle in Age of Empires / Age of Mythology (that's why I loved the Egyptian gods).
Animal Crossing is one of those popular series that I don't understand howthey got popular XD

Can't say either. I bought NH a month before Xenoblade 3 came out. It was originally just meant to bridge that gap. But then I figured I might as well stick with it.

It's game-play from trailers reminds me of Stardew Valley a bit, which I do have.

I played Stardew Valley for 10 mins, I wanted to plant seeds and explore the village, but I couldn't because my character got tired. I've never reinstalled the game since then XD

I quit Stardew Valley because I couldn't think of a name for my character.

"I'll try later when I can think of something creative".

It never happened.

Stardew Valley, now that's a cursed topic. Me and a friend of mine co-op'd that game all the way through to perfection.
(for those who don't know, getting 100% perfection is kinda the equivalent of 100%ing the game, it's got an in game tracker and everything)

It was truly one of the most miserable gaming challenges I've ever had to do, to the point that it completely ruined the game for both of us lol.
I haven't had any desire to even look at that game again since that challenge, and I used to do full 'Community Center in under a year' runs all the time.

Honestly I almost never bother to 100% any game lol. Too much time wasted on too tedious tasks.

I remember the old times when games encouraged you to play through them multiple times. A lot of them nowadays seem to be concerned about not allowing the player to miss anything in their first playthrough. :(

As someone with a large ish backlog and not infinite time in the day, I don't mind this change much.

If it's a game with a second ending and nothing else changes in terms of the actual game, I go towards YouTube.
