I'm gonna stare at the one who did this.

There's a joke somewhere in here about marking this thread/these messages as spam but I'm too asleep to structure it properly...

The rarely seen Fox master makes an appearance. Hope you're all having a nice January so far. ^^

Nice to meet you! Hope your January (and your 2025!) continues to be good.

Always nice to see you! This past week has been... really good, actually. Still thinking about QU, raids on Saturday night were fantastic, still stoked about clearing the fight we were on, yesterday was super lazy in the morning and a date night in the evening, and I'm looking forward to a grind tomorrow.
I've still got a spare drink in the fridge I got from my birthday (I was meaning to drink to celebrate our clear this weekend and then forgot, heh) so I'm also excited to have that sometime this month.~

Oh no! Not half of my entire posting history! IT'll be gone in a flash!

I am actually curious how much my post count would drop if one of these threads just ceased to exist, if you asked me what thread I think I've posted the most in it would... probably be this one?
This just feels like a casual discussion thread with people I know and enjoy talking to instead of a game I play most of the time, and I love it for that. I love Off-Topic but those threads are mainly one and done, I wouldn't necessarily come back to them unless something major changes my thoughts or opinions on the topic, and something about the DCC thread feels too... open? There are people there I don't think know me and it always felt like it'd take a lot more effort trying to break in and actually become a part of the conversation going on.
This thread feels like a perfect balance between just saying whatever's on your mind that you like, and holding discussion about a specific topic. Someone says something, other people contribute, I go "here's what I have to add", and there's usually something new a day or so later. I do really like it and I hope after I obviously win this thread we'll continue to have another one like it in the future.

I'm kinda regretting using Deepslate as one of the blocks for my base in Minecraft.
I tried something out and it looked ugly so I'm now in the process of tearing it all down again and replacing most of it with Tuff. Only Deepslate I'll have now is the polished one I'm using for the floor along with Polished Tuff.

Meanwhile, my base is just a hole in the side of a mountain... but I'm making a museum of every block so take that, ReKoil!

Deepslate is probably one of my favourite "newer"(?) blocks they've added. We've used Deepslate Bricks for our houses in a few worlds and I find it usually looks really good along with wood, especially for floors. Something about the way it sounds is really nice to me.

The Life Day event has ended in Star Wars: The Old Republic- I managed to get my Tatooine Life Day stronghold to 85% completion, so I'm real happy. Not so happy that I reached the unlock limit for two types of decorations- Life Day Coloured String Lights and Life Day Coloured Wreath- which for some reason is 50, and I didn't realise until I had bought three or four more and it wouldn't let me unlock them. Add to that I couldn't sell them back to the vendor, so I'd wasted about 100 Snow-Covered Parcels. Fortunately, they have non-coloured versions of both which I've only got a couple of, so I can use those instead. Have to wait until they do the event again in December to continue, although I can still add some Personnel decorations and they might do another sale on the Cartel Market for the decorations you can get there. Looking forward to it!

I only play Minecraft once every so often so I usually build my bases with new blocks only. Last time I played was technically when part 1 of the Caves & Cliffs update rolled out... but I was already mostly done by then, having jumped back into the game due to the Nether update, so I didn't fully explore that last one.

I'm mainly regretting using Deepslate due to having to tear it down again... I've broken so many Iron picks just removing it and repositioning it. I've also been using Tuff and the new pink wood.

What is this "Minecraft" you're all talking about? Does it have Slowpokes in it?
