Yes, but also this is entirely my fault. ^^"The new one ? =o
I seemed to have fixed the issue. Though, I will wait and see if all is fine when the next update comes.

Wonder how many people here still remember the times when both PT and FG had their post counter turned off.Agreed. On my old forum we had a section called 'The Cellars', where we had spam topics- such as Last Post Wins, Is Peach A Citrus?, Lock This Topic, and so forth- which all had the post-count off. I currently have 3040 posts on the forum- if the posts I had made in the Cellars were counted, I'd probably have over 10 or 20 thousand.
This is a totally different topic I realize, but I've never felt good about AI trying to be people or replacements for them.
I agree and feel similarly, ultimately, a computer program can't truly emulate what I'd be like because it's never had any of my experiences; and it can't think for itself either, just predict what the most likely next word is. Speaking with it felt a lot like those uncanny videos of robots that almost look and talk like humans but that aren't quite similar enough to register as the same; some portions would sound about right, but others felt like a completely different person. Outside of that, I'm also not a fan of AI services that try to replace people; in particular the ones that try to replace dead people. It just comes off as so exploitative to me to sell grieving people essentially a fantasy that their loved ones actually aren't dead / can freely talk with them; and I think that sort of thing prevents people from moving on in a healthy way.I think part of that is also because I'm already incredibly prideful that what I say and think is all like, human? Like I live very comfortably in the thought that nobody else could try to be me and I feel so strongly about that kind of thing that the things I say couldn't be created by someone else, much less not even human.
This is a totally different topic I realize, but I've never felt good about AI trying to be people or replacements for them. I see a bunch for those ads of like "get an AI girlfriend" and I can't see them as anything but disgusting attempts to prey on people. There was someone who passed away a while ago and I had seen someone close to them say something along the lines of "Don't pretend to be him using AI" and that felt kinda uncanny to me.
