I got a cat, a living thing that I am caring for and watching grow. :femme:

Owned two cats in the past. Never particularly got along. (Introduced them to each other poorly.) Settles for watching a neighbor's calico wander around outside nowadays.

I love penguins! We once donated a small sum to the local Zoo, and got our names to be displayed at the penguin enclosure.

Describes that school (and that teacher) as pretty normal. Taught math and science. Actually brought home a plant (a Forget-Me-Not) from school for...Mother's Day? Happened in a different grade with a different teacher, though.

Actually remembers one interesting story from that teacher. Experienced weird health problems, like their body feeling like it was shutting down. Visited specialists. Discovered nothing wrong. Eventually found something wrapped around their heart or the blood vessels leading into it (a muscle, perhaps)? Received surgery immediately. Estimated only one more week to live if that had not been caught.

That's so interesting! I love math and science, so a math and science teacher😎unless they don't teach clearly...
