5th Gen Let's Rewrite History: Remove a Unova Pokemon From Existence!

    Let's hypothetically say you're a huge Zweilous fan. That's great. But does anyone care? NOPE because Hydreigon is all anyone ever thinks about when they think about that evolution line. Zweilous is absolutely irrelevant and that's all Hydreigon's fault. But hey guess what? That's going to change! Game Freak has given you the opportunity to go back in time and remove one Unova Pokemon from existence. It doesn't necessarily have to be a Pokemon you dislike, it can be a Pokemon that steals the spotlight of your own favourite, or a Pokemon that was released too soon. OR MAYBE even a Pokemon that absolutely makes another Pokemon useless. It's up to you. Keep in mind that it'll be removed in future generations too. It's completely gone, so you can remove it for competitive reasons too!

    What Unova Pokemon would you remove, if you had the opportunity to? Why?
     
    If we could literally change history/the past by doing this, I'd get rid of Emolga so I didn't have to suffer in the Nimbasa gym when I first played White ~6 years ago.

    Could also get rid of Heatmor, like seriously does anyone give a shit about that thing? Replace it with a better Fire type.

    I happen to like Heatmor, actually. ~_~

    I wanna say Basculin because there's really nothing redeeming about it. I don't think Game Freak will ever care enough to give it an evolution or much less a mega form. That said, I still prefer it over Luvdisc or Lumineon, it's brethren of forgettable water-types.

    But if you remove Emolga you will anger the two strongest female gym leaders (three if you consider that it's part flying too). ARE YOU READY FOR THEIR WRATH????

    Dude all I remember of Basculin is that you can find it where you find Lapras. I don't even remember it for its own worth. :(

    Elesa would be mad she couldn't win as easily. Skyla would be devastated that her favourite type is even worse off. Anime Iris would use dragon sneeze on you for removing her beloved Emolga.

    Good luck removing Emolga and not being yknow destroyed.

    As much as I want Ducklett removed because it takes away from the much cooler, sexier, muscular duck, I must admit Ducklett is adorable.
     
    I'd probably remove Gothitelle because I just despise it. I actually like pretty much every Unova pokemon except for this one. It's the reason Shadow Tag is banned in Smogon competitive play, and I'm not a fan of the design. It's just all sorts of nope for me.

    This. So much this. This so hard.
    Also Basculin and Sawk/Throh are irrelevant to me.
    Also I hate Audino.
     
    I'd like to remove ..um.. .. I don't think i want to remove any pokémons from Unova. Patrat was the mon that helped me raise my oshawott in the beginning of both Black and Black 2. Klink-Klank is awesome(btw, gears are extremely useful for the mankind), Sawk/Throh are satisfactory, and i'm not a huge fan of zwelious. But, after thinking about it for 7.5 minutes about this, i came to the conclusion that i'd remove emolga, since it seemed eternity before i could beat it. Man! Their Volt Switches.. they almost killed my Dewott.(And yeah, i'm ready for some dragon sneezes and some strong attacks from the strongest bird-trainer in Unova, since my Samurott knows ice beam, and my gigalath is prepared against electricity).
     
    Basculin. It's just forgettable and...I don't understand why it has two formes lmao. And from what I recall, it was literally made as a filler Pokemon and it shows.

    Basculin? Audino? Heatmor? Durant? Can I count Throh and Sawk as one Pokemon? Sigiliph? Maractus? Alomomola?

    As much as I like Generation 5, I have to admit that it brought us a bunch of crappy, forgettable one-off Pokemon.
     
    I don't know what Pokemon I'd remove, but I'd probably remove Druddigon. There's something about it that bugs me compared to other Dragon-types.

    You're the reason why Audino will be extinct. I bet you hunt it down, every hour of the day, not satistified until all Audino are pulverized. I'm sorry but I gotta call Team Plasma on you.
