Please give some solid useful life advice, or share a lifehack or something cool or useful like that.

    Don't bother.

The unnecessarily bleak and unhelpful answer makes me thunk you can do better - do you genuinely think we should all just give up?

Honestly? Yes, I do. I know you probably won't believe that, but that's up to you.

It's only "bleak and unhelpful" if you embrace it as a universal concept when you don't believe it to be necessary. Try applying it selectively, if you find it too distasteful to do that. When things are unnecessarily difficult, or stressful...well, don't bother with them. Why should you? A lot of people - most, I would imagine - put themselves through (or put up with) so much difficulty in life when, if you think about it, they really don't have to.

When the risk is not worth the reward, or when the stress outweighs the benefit - when the negative outweighs the positive, if you prefer - why should you care? Why should you bother? You don't HAVE to. You always have a choice to just...not bother with it. There is no such thing as "no choice" save for getting older and eventually dying, and even that you have some degree of control over.

Better? Just because I don't apply it selectively doesn't mean that other people don't have to. It's your interpretation of that which is "bleak and unhelpful" if that's how you see it.

Get yourself an IKEA cheese grater. I can't believe people still use normal cheese grater when THOSE have been created

I mean, I don't agree with your outlook, but this is a much better explanation than simply 'don't bother'.

Do small chores immediately upon realising you have them. Then you don't end up with a huge mass of things to do later.

THIS do things you have to immediately or else they'll pile up and you'll dread it.
