How are you with logical things (like math)?

I'd have to say I'm average.

Im really bad at math and subjects you need a lot of logic or thinking to get right. I guess my brain isnt really wired for that kind of stuff.

I am over average.....sadly. The school I go to is weak level, compared to my old one. I have an advantage...thanks to KUMON (math classes thingy that ruined my happy life) and my strict old school -.- It's not always fun when I have to work with a partner, cause all they do is copy my answers....

Maaath! <3 <3 I'm not amazing at it anymore (I had horrible teachers laying my high school foundation so I flounder at it a lot more than I'd like now), but I still love almost everything about it. Logic is great and I absolutely adore how, so long as you understand how things work in math, you don't have to do much memorization. You can logically work things out on an exam or something if you've forgotten a formula.

I also find most things related to math (especially numbers *u*) very fascinating. A lot of my recreational reading material is math-related. My favourite things to learn about are numbers and history but I also rather enjoy algebra specifically. Not too big a fan of it, but I think I still have a calculus book I picked up for fun sitting on my shelf somewhere. One thing I don't like much is probability and stats which are the only actual math (ish) courses I've gotten to take lately. Since I'm not interested in it, I don't pay as much attention to it in class, and I don't do as well in it... which in turn makes me even less interested. So that kind of sucks. I'm excited to take combinatorics next term, though!

I suppose I'm better than average at math, even if only because I have such a sheer interest in it compared to most other people, but I am not as good at it as I wish I was. :(

LIGHTNING AND DRAKOW, GONNA OWN THIS THREAD!

I'm not too shabby with maths and such, I reckon I'm above average. Like Lightning, I am not a fan of statistics as I just think a lot of it is **** and bull. I am not a fan of pure mathematics as well, just not my cup of tea. My strengths lie in calculus and algebra as well as logic and modelling.

I hate doing math in general and suck at it, too :I

I might actually suck at it because I don't like it, but who knows. I'm also not great with some science subjects.

I'm pretty good at math or other logical things. Sometimes, I can figure out the solutions to problems that other people have a hard time with.

I love maths, hnnng. ;; I just the feeling when solving compliocated questions and like Erica mentioned if you do happen to forget a formula or specific rules you can simply apply a logical process to find a solution, unlike English where you need to memorise the structures of different written pieces - although it will probably be a second life for most of us over time - but.. probably science related subjecas would recquire a good memory and great logical thinking. But yeah, back onto the topic of maths, I adore it, especially with the teachers I have, they're somewhat strict but are great at their job. My favourite aspect of maths would be Geometry and Pythagors/Trigonometry.

Used to excel at it when I was younger but it's a lot tougher these days for me, which is a shame because I'm genuinely interested in the concepts behind everything.

I'm not bad at it up to a point. I was ahead a year in math classes in junior high and high school until I hit calculus, which I failed twice. I've also never really had any instruction on the computer/programming or logic side of math so I'd bet I'm way below average there.

Math and I don't get along. If I worked at it I could probably do it, but I've been out of school so long that I can only do addition/subtraction/multiplication/division well. With a calculator. Anything else? Ahahaha, no.

Good news is that so far in my adult life, I've only needed basic math skills.

Gah. I suck at Math. Not really, though. But I still suck. I can't even remember those processes now. XD

I am decent in math and I don't really get below a 'B' but I hate it. :[ I am very smart though, not gonna lie!

They tried to teach me algebra for many years; they all failed. Just leave me with my History/English/Biology and I'll be fine, I don't need to form stomach ulcers from the stress of trying to comprehend this calculus crap. I have enough understanding of math to get by in the real world but other than that I'm terrible at math :(

I am awesome at Math. I love numbers because they always make sense. I have no real passion for them and I find them boring, but I love that they're always predictable and always do what you want, so I am very good at playing with them. I got 96% in my HSC (Year 12) Maths exam, which was the highest in the school :D

I don't want to say I'm bad at math, I just don't really give it a chance. My system of schooling requires a final mark of 50 to pass and in both grade 9 and 10 I passed math with that exact mark. Even though that's the case, math remains one of my favourite subjects. How weird is that?

Given that I scored perfectly in some exams in fifth grade even without trying, I'd say I'm above average. Then again, when I took an interest, I never got a perfect score again (except for that one consideration.) Oh the irony. -.- Still, from first to fourth year of high school, I was almost always the highest in our class (among my batch from first to half of third year) until I lost interest by the last two quarters of my fourth year... which caused a drastic change in my grades. Statistics and the -metry ones are just not my cup of tea; I prefer Algebra all the way.

I took the two most difficult maths streams in my last two years of high school as well as get put in extension groups during most of my primary/secondary schooling and I enjoy reading on aspects of it for fun (mostly pure maths; hyperbolic trigonometric functions, set theory, etc.) so I guess I'm not bad at it but I no longer do maths in a formal setting or at any institution. It's become more of an interest than anything. I absolutely love the ideas behind it but sadly it is ruined by the poor excuse for maths-teaching that turns it into one of the driest most boring subjects around.
