I slipped in the shower and hit my forehead on the sink three days ago. It still hurts like a bitch and there's a lot of pressure on my eyes because of it. Aside from the physical effects, I got a major scare; I really thought I was gonna die right there.

having to take a history class that was very overwhelming but it's ok i dropped the class today

My car stalled on the highway and wouldn't get back up to highway speed very quickly. Drivers here have gotten scary stupid and reckless lately. I've had over 10 near-crashes this summer alone so I was a little afraid for my life and drove several miles on the dirt shoulder until I got to an exit. Couldn't risk it otherwise.

i was going to say it was really unlucky for me to be late to all of my appointments this week because of car accidents, but then i realized that i'm probably being insensitive to those who were actually involved in the crash :x

san francisco is hitting record high temps of 105-106 in the summer. now some of yall are like "hey thats nothing" but.... our summers normally have temps of 50-60 degrees + fog

also cos of aforementioned 50-60 degree norms NOBODY HERE HAS AC i think death has come for me

I waited about an hour and a half for a doctor's appointment the other day...only to discover that the one who scheduled the appointment made a mistake, and that the doctor was actually expecting a different patient. I, on the other hand, didn't need to see the doctor at all. >_

my car died the week of my birthday and i had to get a new one. i had just paid off that thing this spring too and now i'm back on car payments that are WAY more expensive than they were for my previous car. at least i got a car i really like otherwise i would be even more bitter. having a new car is a nice morale boost, admittedly.
