Back in the day I would use my Sony Walkman which I still have, but then I upgraded to an iPod Classic, and finally to an iPod Touch. Everyone seems to be obsessed with having everything on a single device, but I personally don't. I like having an iPod Touch for music, video, and games, and in the other hand a basic slider phone. The reason I didn't just get an Android smartphone is because I've always purchased the full versions of apps since I got my first iTouch several years ago so they are forever on my account as long as the apps exist, not to mention all of the in-app purchases. I'm not about to spend a bunch of money on the same apps on an Android phone, so why buy one? I could use the internet, but then again that's not a major concern for me, and it also brings me to my next point. When I'm at home with Wi-Fi I use my iTouch's internet, but when I'm on the go I can just focus on listening to music or playing a game. If I get to the point where my battery runs low no worries. I'll still have a cellphone that I mainly use for texting, that usually still has close to a full battery by the end of the day because I'm not using the internet or playing games on it. 2 devices is great for me.
