PC First Impressions

What was your first impression of PC? Your first impressions on anything else PC related? Any first impression on any members?

Has your first impression changed? How so?

I remember being confused with the amount of subforums there were. I was also surprised with the huge staff list I noticed at the time. The members seemed to be pretty nice people.

I got accustomed to the first 2 things. I still find the members to be pretty friendly. ^-^

I found the members VERY friendly and VERY helpful. I made my first account in 2013 and this is my second account, and to this day, PC is still the welcoming place it used to be. :D

it was a place where i could nerd about oras with people that were also nerding out about oras, so ^ that is what i thought most of the time.

When I first joined I noticed how members welcomed me, they were so friendly and aslo they helped me very much especially for some ROM hacking tips (The reason I joined haha). My impression didn't change at all during these 2 years, members are still friendly and helpful.

When I first joined twelve years ago PC seemed big and scary, especially compared to the old sites I used to be a part of. I didn't think I could make friends within such a crowd, but it didn't take long before I was proven mistaken.

A few subsections are still scary though. lol

I used to think PC was intimidating, but this was back in 2010. :/

i can't remember. i think i thought something like "oh a great, big forum to post so many stories on and a great place to talk about pokemon" or something like that. now i just think it's a nice, great place that can still be intimidating at times, but i still enjoy it nonetheless.

i was pretty intimidated by it. during that time i was only used to small pokemon communities so joining here was like holy crap.

I was intimidated since I've never been into a Pokèmon community in all these years, already 5 months have passed and now I feel a lot more comfortable.

The site design is okay but many user's have annoying gifs in their signatures, and it is distracting.

The forums were sorta intimidating to me at first because it seems like everyone knows one another, and if you're not in a certain group or have a skill in something (like graphic banners/signatures) you kinda get ignored even if you tried to be as friendly as possible. Luckily the atmosphere has changed greatly since I first joined.

i was skeptical about joining because of the ROM hack section. didn't know what the hell a ROM was so i thought PC was a collection of weirdo hackers and pok?mon players.
