Any way we can set a hard limit on videos at ten or so minutes? I'm sick of hopping in to spin some tunes and the guy before me happened to run a 45-minute vid when he was there alone.

Ideally you can submit a video longer than ten minutes, there will simply be a hard cutoff at that mark.

I deleted that track and won't be playing it again. Again really sorry ily <3
 
So, I think I might have jumped the gun just slightly. We should discuss this issue of Marz's properly in here and reach a decision as a group (Matt permitting of course).

In my opinion, rather than any serious rules or anything about time limits being created we should just aim to be respectful of each others wishes. If you are alone, play what you like (just make sure you are prepared to move on from a really long track if someone arrives) and if you would like to play a particularly long track, ask the others in the room first.

I think any issues can easily be remedied simply with some courtesy.

I think it's best to do that. Also, if someone wants to notify another user, rather than spamming the chat, a simple mention (done by saying @Username) makes a booping noise that notifies the user. Usually when I'm alone I play music and hop onto Smite, so I can't tell when someone comes in unless they boop me.

It's OK no harm done. I tend to come across super salty in text posts hehe. ily2! :)
