Haxorus for very early Dragon Dance (27 in Sword/Shield). Begins with Bite, which is serviceable. (Demolishes everything in earlier generations with baseline Dragon Rage, however.) Starts weaker than Hydreigon (Tri Attack and Dragon Breath). Accepts that.

Porygon, absolutely. Especially if I can get a buddy to help me evolve it into Porygon2. I remember making a papercraft of sorts of it when I was younger and it's even more special to me now, having a full-odds Shiny one I SR'd years ago in Platinum that turned out to be a square Shiny when I transferred it to SWSH! Would still choose Porygon even if I couldn't evolve it though.

Chooses Karrablast. Bulks way up upon evolving.
Nopes out of Wimpod for its rough start. Relies on Struggle Bug (solid move) with base 20 Special Attack (not solid) until level 30 or Technical Machines.
Would be okay with Sizzlipede too.
