Why hello there!
This thread got my attention :)

I have a few questions though.. why make a GBA version of platinum? nds emulators are possible :D

  • allowing people to play it on relatively weak devices (I have a calculator for example)
  • using it as a base for PB
  • making tons of routines in the process of developing the hack, which can be used by other people
  • proving it's possible, challenging ourselves and doing it for fun

So where are the other questions?
 
Hey! I actually wanted to post more questions but had to go for the moment.. anyway here they are :
- This version will have lots of better graphics and since it also has more Pokemon and hence more data are there any chances of lagging on devices?
- what's PB? :O
- I've seen somewhere around here that someone created NDS hacks too.. is there any specific reason besides the process being tough that people haven't really attempted to create the x n y versions in nds ? Or in gba (with as much dedication as youyou :D)
- since you managed to put in 493 Pokemon is it not possible to have like all of them ?

My questions are pretty basic as I do not have knowledge of hacking so pardon me :P

The only thing that would have a massive impact on lagging at the moment is the mainloop, which we have improved thanks to knizz. So not really.

I'm not even going to answer this one. PRPB. The thing this thread is about.

Too little research, platform too weak to actually have all those models, too many features to just go and implement.

Jeez, why are you so mad? I didn't know that pb is the abbreviation for platinum blue, you can't expect everyone to know about what abbreviations you have made.
Also I meant about all pokemons including Unova and Kalos region pokemons.. There is NO info about that in the first post, which I have thoroughly read (even watched the videos).
If you still believe there are too many people asking simple things better have them in the FAQ part then.

True. You Know, Some Members Really Have Full Of Air In Their Heads. But I Can Answer Your Q Man. Its Possible. They Just Won't Do It Here 'Cause They Say This Stuff Is A Platinum Demake. Meaning Up To Sinnoh Mons Are Only Available. About The FAQ Part. Its Not Really That Necessary 'Cause You Can Read It In The First Page Of This Thread. Your A Newcomer So I Understand You (I Think x]) But You'll Get Used To It Anyway.

I would like to mention that these questions are really too simple to even have in the FAQ section, if you actually fully read the main post and other significant updates you can tell what is going to be in the hacks or not. You can even see what PB by just looking at the thread and the title, if PR stands for Platinum Red, PB will obviously stand for Platinum Blue. As for including all pokemon, it is possible in a hack, but Platinum Red definitely won't have every single pokemon because it is a Platinum demake and I really don't believe Platinum Blue will have every single pokemon because the goal for that hack is to be a fresh take on Platinum so I really doubt they'll add newer pokemon. Really, all you have to do is read the first post and just use a little bit of logic. ;)

I'm deeply sorry, it seems I misunderstood your questions, but I am not mad at all. So if you meant if it's possible to insert up to gen 6 pokes into a hack: yes, theoretically it's possible, but things like abilities and moves would make it hard. If you mean if our hack is going to have them, then no, because this is a gen 4 demake.
As for PB, I'm sorry again, I thought everybody knew what it meant since it's so widely used throughout the thread.

Raiimeister, you seem to have forgotten how to use capitalization.
