    We've been faced with tons of new changes to the region of Hoenn, including plenty of makeovers! Another huge one that we've been given is the makeover for our main protagonists, May and Brendan! Their changes are not quite as dramatic as some but definitely different enough to turn heads, that's for sure.

    So who's your favorite redesign? Do you prefer the old designs? Why? Do you prefer one of the old designs and like one of the new designs?

    I'm alittle stupid and this might be slightly off topic, but what do you want us to do with the poll. It just says "What do you think" Is this about liking them or not liking them?
     
    I like the newer designs better, especially in May's case. She looks way more adorable and polished now. Brendan on the other hand is a mixed bag though because I feel like shorts are an odd look for him imo.
     
    First off, I really liked both Brendan's and May's designs in RS and Emerald. I especially loved Brendan's beanie (or "hair", which I thought it was before reading the RS arc of PokeSupe) and May's bandana.

    Moving on, I really love the female protagonist's new design; she looks absolutely adorable, and I can see a lot of potential cute and tomboyish outfits for her if customization returns! I'm also hoping the bandana makes a comeback--and in different colors--because I'd like to see her with one in 3D <3 The male protag., on the other hand... I like his outfit a lot; his beanie looks really cool with the revamped Poke Ball design, plus his design makes it obvious it's a beanie and not his hair XD However, I feel like his outfit doesn't really go with his face; I guess that sounds a bit strange, but it looks odd to me, haha. Still, if customization does return this won't be much of an issue :>
     
    Really don't see what all the gripes are about New May, I think the bandana is adorable and she's still one of my favorite characters in Pokemon. Extremely pleased that Brendan isn't donning pant-pants anymore; those did seem rather out of place in a tropical region like Hoenn, haha.

    Most of the complaints seem to be about the ribbon making her look adorable. They seem to think that a girl looking cute makes her look 'weak' or 'not as badass as the male'.
    I personally like it.
    Now Brendan, I miss his black hair, wonder why GF has given the odd generation main characters brown hair for their remakes while in the original it was 'Dark Brown' instead of the closer to 'true' brown they have now.
     
    I like the new May! Not a fan of the whole 'shorts over leggings' look (especially since her leggings are so short - very weird), but hopefully I'll be able to ditch that with customization options. I like everything else about her though. But yeah, as mentioned, for the most part she just looks more polished and stylish.

    Brendan looks pretty different to me, not really sure if I like it or not. It's definitely more clear the hat is a hat now, haha.

    So for now, new May but old Brendan gets my vote.
     
    I don't like the new design for Brendan =/ His expression reminds me, for some odd reason, of the creepy Titans from Attack on Titan. I adore May's new look, though, it's super cute. But yeah, I prefer old Brendan over the new one.
     
    I fell in love with the New May design. You can be adorable as well as being tough.
     
    I pretty much like all the designs except for ORAS Brendan. He looks older tbh, doesn't contrast May well, since she looks younger this time. AND NO WHITE HAIR D: tsk tsk.
     
    New designs, definitely! They aren't really ~that~ different but I love May's new bow, and how Brenden's hat doesn't look like his hair this time around! At least in the official art.

    It's about which design you prefer for each protagonist. Think of it this way: if you were a game developer and were chosen to pick one design for each of the protagonists, which ones would you go with and why?

    New Brendan looks terrible. May I must admit got a lot better, though. New Brendan looks too...babyish and too different from his old self. His old self looks cool and rather intimidating. His new looks makes him look weak and a pushover.
     
    I don't know about others, but I'm actually quite fond of Brendan's new look. First thing is that his hair is longer, making them more visible to the eye. In RSE, those were short, and for a decent while, I thought that his hat was his hair and not something else (in other words, I believed his hair was completely white). In this new design, it fixes that issue up for me, and for others that the same, exact idea. Another good thing is his eyes are more wide, making him seem more tough and dedicated. In my opinion, that's exactly what a protagonist should look--you're out there to save the world, and you might as well seem confident while doing so.

    May looks simply adorable. I don't have much things to say about her, sadly, aside from that I approve her new appearance! Only thing that bothers me is her pants; to me, white looks a little weird. If it were black, gray, or any other variant, it would've been better.
     
    I'm probably one of those nostaligic people and go with old...

    But honestly, I like May in a bandanna more. Both their clothes are cute and all imo, but the bandanna stole the point from the new design.

    And as for Brendan... the new design's hair is a bit longer, and I like that, but I can't comprehend that wetsuit...
     
    I like the old designs better. They look more mature and have a ranger look to them with their clothing. I don't dislike the new ones though. They just have a cutesy young look instead of having an edge.
     
    The new hair color of may fit more to her new design tho even if it's mostly the same Serena brown color.
     
    I'm in love with the new May design. It's just adorable, and I like how her bandanna looks in her new design. I also really like the outfit she's wearing, I just find it stylish and cute. Honestly, I don't feel like bothering to customize her if customization does come back, because I'm loving new May.

    Out of the old ones, I like the old Brendan better, simply because he isn't wearing what looks like bike shorts. They just look ugly on his new design, which is why I like the older one better. I also like how the old one was capable of tricking you into thinking that the cap is actually white hair, while the new design shows a bit of his brown hair.
