Question of the Day

When you find a rare candy, do you use it immediately, or save it?
I use it immediately if I have a lower levelled Pokemon with an EXP bar almost empty. If all my Pokemon have half-full or more EXP bars, I'll grind them until they have empty ones.

What's the best thing you've ever gotten from Wonder Trade?
Not sure if egg move is a good wonder trade, since sometimes people throw junks at wonder trade and either it's EGG'ed or plain

I'm actually with Otamajakushi, it's best to use them when your Pokemon's level is 95+, or somewhere around there. The total exp that it grants is higher at that point (since it gives the amount that's needed to move up to the next level). Sometimes I'll use it earlier than that though when I just don't feel like waiting, or it's a Pokemon with a really slow growth rate haha. Just a matter of the situation, really.

Question of the Day

What's the best thing you've ever gotten from Wonder Trade?
So far I haven't got any, when I heard people receiving their shinies, great IV Pokemon through WT. I wasn't angry nor jealous, it's disbelief! Hahaha!

What's the best thing you've ever gotten from Wonder Trade?

There are so many things I could answer this question with, but I think I have to give this to having scored a total of FIVE Buizel from Marriland, all named Pretzel, that were given away on his Wonder Trade Wednesday streams. Aside from that, i've gotten some other 5 IV and Dream Ball stuff, but on Thanksgiving I got a 5 IV shiny Buneary in a Dream Ball with four egg moves.

What's the best thing you've ever gotten from Wonder Trade?

I've gotten so many cool things, it's ridiculous. Just to name a few: Shiny Kyogre, Hoopa, 2x 6IV Ditto, some event Pokemon with their hidden ability, etc. think, I even got a Marill from Marriland once, but traded it away, before I realized it. {XD}

The best thing I got from Wonder Trade was a shiny perfect IV Totodile :) Its nickname and OT were HydrosPlays, which when I looked it up is the youtube channel of a group of PokeTubers. Talk about lucky, right :D

Question of the Day

What's the longest it's ever taken you to beat a Pokemon game?

What's the longest it's ever taken you to beat a Pokemon game?

In terms of fully completing, I'm afraid that would be AS. Bought the game last year, STILL not done with that post-story mega stone episode thing... Yeah, I can't wven remember it's name. In terms of normal completeing, I dunno. Lets just say some of the older games I've played because nowadays it takes only like a few months for me to complete a game.

What's the longest it's ever taken you to beat a Pokemon game?
Probably a week or 5 days since I can master everything in an instant expect dungeon series it might considerably longest

What's the longest it's ever taken you to beat a Pokémon game?
It usually takes me around one week to finish off a Pokémon game, at least those that are from main series, and the longest would likely have to be two - three, haha.

What's the longest it's ever taken you to beat a Pokémon game?
Can't really remember... maybe over a month for one of the mystery dungeons or Pokemon XD? For a main series game... maybe a couple of weeks, if I haven't taken many breaks!

What's the longest it's ever taken you to beat a Pokemon game?

If it's in terms of the main story in the main games, it should be HeartGold and usually it takes me around a week to blind finish a Pokemon main game.

In terms of trying to get the maximum number of Pokemon without trading in the main games, Gold seems to take a huge chunk of my time but still I'm almost there: I got 190 so far.

What's the longest it's ever taken you to beat a Pokémon game?

Not quite sure how long I played Gold, since the timer maxed out at 255 hours, so instead I'll just say X+OR. I've only almost completed X and was still missing a couple Pokemon and when ORAS came around, I transfered everything from X to OR and finished the dex there. That's about 700 hours in X and maybe 100 in OR to get pretty much everything done, adding up to about 800h in total. Granted, that's completion time, beating the main story was obviously much shorter, but I don't know how long my longest main story only run was...

What's the longest it's ever taken you to beat a Pokemon game?

Usually I'll have the main story finished within a couple of days. Then at that point, I go and finish all the little side quests, such as the Delta Episode. At this point, I consider the game complete, but not 100%.

I consider catching every single Pokemon 100% completing the game, and I have never done that before. Soon I'll have enough time to finish my challenge, so I can say I've completed Pokemon games 100%. It's a hard challenge, and I've been taking my time with it. Soon! So soon!

What's the longest it's ever taken you to beat a Pokemon game?

I know it took me around two months to beat Ruby the very first time in 2003, but that was when I didn't really know what I was doing (and getting grounded didn't help).

But for any one save as far as I can recall, i've had the save on my aforementioned Black 2 Nuzlocke since May, and just played through Route 23 tonight. I'll hopefully beat Iris (or fail) by Christmas.

In terms of time on the calendar, I think about 9 or 10 years. I started LeafGreen in 2004, and I only beat the Elite Four (and second round Elite Four) fairly recently. I don't know if I've actually finished everything in the game or not. The slow pacing was due to a unique approach that my friend and I took to playing it.

As for hours, LG probably wins that as well, with a first-round Elite Four clear of ~323 hours, I think.

If we're talking about dex completion, not sure. Diamond and X are in the 400-450 hour range with completed dexes, but I don't remember when I finished those.

Longest time it's taken me to finish a Pokemon game, in terms of total play time, would be White 2. I think I was at around 60 hours when I finally beat Iris. That was because I spent a lot of time on the PWT.

I say HeartGold/SoulSilver getting the EXP in there is hellish due to opponent's pokemon level is far higher than anything in the wild and good source of EXP is only chansey, but that is somewhere in the game

Generation V so far is the most difficult ones, I'm highlighting the final battles with N and Ghetsis in BW. They were crazy intense!
