Recent Gaming Purchases?

I've dipped my toes back into the land of consoles. After seeing how much all of this cost together, I'm beginning to remember why I went to PC, lol. But I can't stay away from Nintendo forever, they monopolize on my childhood. :P

In the past week I've bought:


  • Wii U Deluxe (currently bundled with Super Mario 3D World.)
  • Hyrule Warriors
  • LoZ: Wind Waker
  • Super Smash Bros. (Wii U, of course)
  • A black Pro controller for myself (specifically for SSB, I actually rather like the GamePad)
  • A blue Afterglow for Boyfriend.
  • Screen protector kit (why the fuck don't they put this on at the factory. Thank god boyfriend works in a body shop; he had the patience for that crap, I don't, lol.)
  • And tomorrow Mr. Boyfriend is getting me Majora's Mask (fingers crossed that they're not sold out before he gets out of work!) to 'pay me back' for buying his controller. Same price, good god, lol.

And that's it, I'm broke for the month! :P Seriously though, no more big purchases for now.
There's a couple more games I'd like for the Wii U, but all I plan on buying retail for it are a few more Nintendo-exclusive things and some Wii games I missed out on. There's a handful of VC titles that influenced my decision to finally buy a new console, too. But half of the things I want need to wait until I can sink some more cash into Wii-specific controllers. Most complicated console I have ever owned.

But, now I have a Wii U to relive my childhood, and I have my PC for everything else. Like Boyfriend said when I came home with it, "You just bought a $300 Mario Machine™."

I bought my Shulk Amiibo the other day and then Majora's Mask 3D today! It's been a good week. :)
 
Last week I made a little haul at Gamestop. For $33 I got Uncharted 3, Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction and Crack in Time, Infamous 1 and 2, and Dishonored. Thank you fantasy football money!

Also, Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming in today from Amazon. That was only $40 so I jumped on it.
 
Since I had a few Gamestop reward points saved up, I bought Red Dead Redemption (GOTY edition) and No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise both for the PS3 and used. Wasn't even aware there was a port of the original No More Heroes for the PS3 until yesterday. Asked for Majora's Mask 3D too, not really expecting them to have it, and they didn't. Not really in a rush to get it since I haven't even received my copy of OoT 3D in the mail yet.
 
Over the last couple of weeks, I've purchased the following...

- Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2
- Criminal Girls: Invite Only
- New Nintendo 3DS XL (Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate edition)
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D

I'm debating picking up another copy of Pokemon X at the moment. Next week I'm getting Hyperdevotion Noire, too. February is terrifyingly expensive...
 
Been playing quite a bit of Dying Light since buying it the other day. It's a good hybrid between Mirror's Edge and Dead Island, and I personally think the game is pretty fun. The game is actually ridiculously long, which is a good thing considering I need to save my money for a bit. I'll most likely be preoccupied with this game for the next few weeks,
 
I just bought Life Is Strange and LOVED it so much (obviously).

My boyfriend bought the full season pass for me for Valentine's Day as well so I'm so excited to play the rest of the episodes!
 
Struck some good deals today. Bought Elite Beat Agents for $4 and just made a deal with my cousin to buy his PS3 for $75! Gonna pick it up Friday. :)

Have you ever played Shadow of the Colossus? Because that's one of the first games you should get for your PS3; you should be able to get it cheap too on eBay!

Yeah, I know about that one, but I'd rather get it for PS2. :> I already have Ni No Kuni for my PS3 and plan to get some other RPGs like both the Kingdom Hearts remixes and Tales games, but I think we all know the most important thing on the PS3 for me...

My most recent purchases have been Omega Ruby (four months ago almost), Fantasy Life (3 months ago), and now Majora's Mask 3D (4 days ago). I planned on buying a New 3DS XL (Red) with MM3D but they're completely sold out in my state apparently...At this rate I think it'll be a month before I get one.
 
Just purchased Assassin's Creed Rogue for the 360 today. Can't remember the last time I was this excited over a game purchase, whooo!
 
Picked up that copy of Pokemon X; second hand off eBay, no box, pretty cheap...already got a box, so I don't really need another. Might as well take some of the Pokemon off the existing file as well. Also picked up Super Smash Bros. for 3DS this morning for some reason, and preordered Toukiden Kiwami for PS4. Really need to cut back on the spending now. xD
