Should there be a new remake or mainline Pokemon game?

    Hi everyone. I just want to know what people think. To be honest I'm not really a fan of the Legends Arceus type games but that's just me.
    Do you think there should be a new remake of a previously visited region or just a new region with new Pokémon entirely? Personally I'm up for either/or.
     
    Would be fine with a substantial remake, depending on how they do it. Imagines a(nother) remake of Johto with a better level curve and a more fleshed out Kanto experience. Could go the route of Johto several years after the original games too. Possibly agrees to any region several years before/after the original games, provided a standard Pokemon experience. (Worries about them Let's Go-ing it, though.)

    Is not enthused about a Black/White remake. What do they even add? Perhaps wider movepools, clothing, forced Experience Share, and a Fairy typing for...Cottonee and Whimsicott? Maybe a few non-Generation 5 Pokemon, similar to the Grand Underground? Almost certainly loses the better visuals of the older games. Hardly seems worthwhile. Just port it.

    Hesitates to say a new region with new Pokemon. Wants it, but not this year.
     
    It's kinda more a matter of when really. They're definitely going to keep making new mainline games and remakes of them for the foreseeable future. Chances are this year we're just getting Legends ZA, but next year we likely could at least see Gen 10 (or another Gen 9 game maybe) and/or the next remake be revealed. Have to wonder how they'll handle Gen 5 remakes though.
     
    Will see a new gen game sooner or later anyway, but for a remake as long as it isn't 'Kanto, yet again' I'd be okay with pretty much any region. Also saw Sinnoh again recently in BDSP.
    Would kinda like a Johto remake, but that would most likely come with some 'Kanto, yet again'.... so eh. Though if they expanded the Johto area with some new areas that could be nice.
     
    I just read about some rumored releases of games called "Pokémon Memories" and "Pokémon Reminiscence."
    This wouldn't technically be anything new but I have been wanting to play these games again.
    As far as if it's true, I don't know.
     
    I want Johto simply because the DS remakes are not priced affordably.

    With the instisance that these games have to be 'faithful' to the originals I don't trust them to fix the level curve.
