@CureYoshiDarkness

Sorry about what i'm going to type but my younger cousin said you're stupid and a jerk.

P.S. IT IS NOT COMING FROM ME!It is not AvenStarkiller, it's his younger brother.

I love the fact you edited your post, just to make it look like I was talking about something else. Also, this statment:

If you look at the previous posts, the topic is about different color schemes for characters. Not about King K Rool.[/I]"

I didn't even see your post until after I edited my post. Also, I'm not trying to make it look like "you were talking about something else" All I did was quote something from the wikipedia? Also, you haven't joined this discussion till now, and even if you ask Pinkie-Dawn, we were clearly discussing on whether or not King K. Rool should be in the next Smash Bros.

Well, that is okay. I've been called much much worse in my life, mind you. And I take it Aven is your younger cousin? I am not going to spill this discussion here, please understand that.

^That is probably the most amount of text I've ever seen on a meme.

But guys, lets settle down a bit with this whole Ganondorf/Hyrule Warriors/LoZ's convoluted timeline thing, ok?

No Aven isn't my younger cousin, he's older by a week.
Huh, I thought you were the older one.

Back to Smash here, do you think Squirtle and Ivysaur should have been taken out of the game? Or do you think they should have stayed?

Squirtle definitely should've stayed, with big changes like being faster and doing more damage. But I feel like Ivysaur wasn't very popular and I don't think they should add him back in. All in all Charizard was the wisest choice among the three, although I was a little disappointed in his playstyle.

Huh, I thought you were the older one.

Definitely not xD

On the topic of the removal with Squirtle and Ivysaur, I believe the reason for removal was due to the fact they were originally part of the PKMN Trainer, and the whole swap in-and-out mechanic that is not present in Smash 3DS/WiiU. On their own though, Squirtle was primarily a very light fight and Ivysaur was a middleweight, and since Lucario is a middleweight and Greninja is actually classed in the game's code as a lightweight with the height profile of a middle. They make up that missing gap, though in my opinion, I do miss them and PKMN Trainer. Personally, it was a very nice mechanic with the usage of stamina and the ability to swap out, but keep in damage.

Quite from Zelda Wiki: "Eiji Aonuma has stated that Hyrule Warriors exists as a "separate dimension" and is not part of the main series.[2] However, he goes on to suggest that while the game does not slot into any particular part of the timeline, it has links to different periods of the timeline,[3] and that characters have been "brought together".[4] He said that he had been thinking of it as being similar to The Avengers.[5]

Edit:

"Within the Zelda canon, there is the timeline, but there has always been the sense of the main story and kind of a side story. Like, Majora's Mask might be considered part of that, though it does exist as part of the timeline. With Hyrule Warriors, there is a link between the two, but it exists as a separate dimension, so it doesn't exist as part of the main canon." — Eiji Aonuma Addresses Hyrule Warriors' Place In The Zelda Timeline, Game Informer.

Okay, I'm getting some complaints that people are getting insulted and that this thread is derailing a bit.

Its okay to debate, but please don't indirectly insult, mock or make fun of people just to prove one point. x: That's going to let people think less of you. I'm not going to name names for now because you know who you are - but next time I get a report like this, the consequences I'm afraid are going to lead to warns and infractions.

Carry on. :3

Plus Greninja already fills the gap of a Water starter, and having Squirtle in would be redundant, which is why Pichu will never appear in Smash again outside of Melee. This would leave Ivysaur to fill in the Grass starter slot, but having 7 Pokémon reps would only ruin the 6-party theme from their source material. I too miss Pokémon Trainer, because now that gender swaps are a thing, we've would've gotten a female trainer being voiced by one of the VAs from the anime dub, and I wanted to hear their voices interacting with some of the deeper masculine voices of other Smash fighters.

For new alternate costumes, I would absolutely love to see Mr. L for Luigi. Even Project M adds it. It's super cool.

Looks like my 400th post is about wanting Mr. L as a costume...
Confirmed to be on the way?

I really think they should have kept Squirtle. I'm not complaining about Ivysaur though.
Squirtle was my main up until Smash 4 but i'm still playing Squirtle in Project M. :)

I play as Squirtle in Project M as well, I found him (or her) very resourceful when fighting with friends or with just the AI turning tests.

Ivysaur though, I loved using. Good speed, power, and moveset, he (or she) used to be one of my mains before Smash4, still. I still have Yoshi though and Rosalina now.

I hate when i'm fighting a level 9 Rosalina, she is so weird to fight against, but when I use her against friends, I always love using her Up B to confuse them.

I tend to meteor slam enemies down and out with Rosalina fairly easy. Her in air, A+right/left move always hits for me and is my go-to attack. I mean, since I got the game on release day, she is really who I use in smashes with friends, ai, or online. According to my 3DS roster in game, I have '1619 Hours played' with just Rosalina and Luma. Ever since they fixed the lag online issue, I've had some good fun with it.

So, with Mewtwo coming of course the Amiibo of Mewtwo will be coming too. I'm definitely getting it just because it's going to look so awesome and epic, and because I semi-main Mewtwo. But what do you guys think?
