Depends upon the company I am with. Professional? Not professional? Family? New acquaintances?
I almost always avoid "goddammit" and "jesus christ" as well as any racial term as a general rule. But, for "fuck" sake, if language is neutral to any social identity, in an informal setting, I don't give a "shit".
Though, that's assuming it isn't directed at someone, like, "fuck my life" is different from "fuck you". Similarly, calling some a "piece of shit" is different from describing a "shitty situation". I only call someone a curse word when they are a close friend and it is totally sarcastic (or involves a dorky pun). So, tread lightly and think about how you say and phrase something, and when to just avoid it all together.
Similarly, in heated situations, inserting a curse word can just aggravated things, since others might perceive them as being directed at them or their actions. When in doubt, just refrain.
