Television or Internet

I pretty much watch TV using the internet. My mom is the only one who uses Cable TV in the house. If I were living on my own, I would definitely just use Netflix to watch TV. I wouldn't even bother with Cable.

I use the tv to catch up with a couple shows on demand. I basically only use phone internet for social media and then here on my desktop. One day I want to live a life with neither tbh

You can watch TV on the internet easily. There's barley a argument.

TV for me, mostly because my major is Television and Film Production haha. I want to work on shows and movies.

And to everyone saying that TV is dying... its not. And its not going anywhere for awhile. Remember when people were condemning Radio because TV was the new thing to replace it? Exactly.

Internet is the best doesn't matter if its east, west, north or south ! All matters is Internet that is spread all around the world (Mostly)! I love net, Net made me a man, It helped me so much on having knowledge + Amazing friends. No TV is compared to my dear net. (Sorry for the poem type writing Hahaha :3 )

Internet. Only thing decent on TV are shows on Animal Planet these days. Plus the internet is great for all types of things (finding shows you actually want to see, making friends, learning new things, etc).

Used to watch TV a lot after I get off the PC, I'd even stay up until 5am watching TV, lmao.

But now, we changed subscription and the only place where we got all the channels is in the living room. The TV in my room is used for my Gamecube and movies. I kinda miss watching TV in my room, tbh. I hate watching movies/series on the computer, it's so, yuck..

Now I use Netflix on my phone to watch my moviesand TV series, mostly TV series. I use the internet to play my games since I mostly play on the PC, and for Youtube, Facebook and visiting forums.

Tbh, I prefer internet over TV, but TV ain't that far behind it.

I've gravitated more towards the internet now. Modern cartoons are awful when compared to what I grew up with, there aren't many TV shows that air on channels I have access to that I want to see, and even nature documentaries aren't as interesting as they used to be, because David Attenborough doesn't narrate many of them anymore. TV has gone downhill, in short. The internet allows me to watch more or less whatever I please, whenever I please. Most of my friends think the same way as well.

These days, if I have the TV on, usually it's just for background noise; I rarely actually watch it.

It's only been about a week, but since I moved, I find that I don't miss TV as much as I thought I would, since I've still got the internet. I found that unless I was watching sports, I'd mainly just use it as background noise while I was on the computer. If it was the other way around though, I don't think I'd last more than a month without internet, especially considering my cell phone has such poor service here, and I wouldn't be able to use my data on there either.

Am veering towards online now more, I have more choice rather that whats on TV (there is still some good stuff on TV like a few comedy and documentary's) If people where rational TV would be dieing out soon (due to better choice online) but because so many people watch Trash TV (reality shows, "talent" shows and soaps) TV will survive a bit longer I guess.

British TV is mostly trash in my opinion, and anything worth watching can be watched online on the iPlayer or equivalent. Or I just wait for the DVD release. For my day-to-day, I'll stick with my favourite YouTube channels thanks.

I use tv mostly i have netflix and Hulu but never go on them literrally ever haha.
If i miss a show on tv like pokemon (yep still watch it :)) since i always do since i dont wanna get up early on a saturday i open up the Cartoon Network app and watch it there.

I generally do my watching of shows on the internet, but my family still watches television, even if I don't. As a result, I sometimes sit down to watch what they're watching. But no, I don't go out of my way to watch television. Plus I hate ads! Seriously what are the creators of ads on?

I don't have much reason to watch TV when I can get most things on the internet. The only new stuff I tend to watch on TV nowadays are new episodes of shows like South Park, but if there are episodes of older shows that I like that I happen to catch on TV i'll take those.

I don't watch as much TV as I used to save for a few shows. I find most television to be garbage. Do I even need to mention reality TV? Also, I find most sitcoms to be unfunny and have an overuse of laugh track.

Usually both for me, especially given all the trash that Australian television has like all the reality stuff that seems to be the only thing that rates highly these days. Sadly I don't stream due to my internet limitations, but I do watch YouTube clips which is close enough.
