Yeah, you need two of the same handheld. It was easier for me when my brother and sister played more video games so they had their own handheld but not so much anymore. My sister just uses my 3DS whenever there is a game that she wants to play, these days. So I still needto find someone whenever I want to evolve a Pokemon via trade.

Since you don't have the 3DS Pokémon games, do you usually just watch playthroughs online to compensate?

As for me, I don't think I'll ever be able to get OR/AS or GTI, but for some reason I still insist on avoiding spoilers at all costs... weird, huh? xD

Also, on topic of Seadra: have you ever wondered why it has Poison Point while Horsea nor Kingdra does?

Maybe Seadra just loves ice cream more than the other two? :D

That, and I think its PokéDex entry from Emerald sums it up nicely:

It is sad when you are forced to miss out on an entire generation because you couldn't get the required handheld. A good 3DS is usually cheaper these days so it's a bit easier to get into 6th Gen now.

Horsea is one of those Pokemon that I tend to forget about. Which happens to a lot of Water Pokemon.

The Pokemon games are really the only reason why I make sure to get Nintendo's newest handheld console. Other games for the system that I hear about and like more than Pokemon once I play them are an extra bonus. The thing is that I'm never sure if I'm going to like a lot of games for the handheld system, but a mainline Pokemon game is a safe bet that I'll at least put in the effort to try it out.

Has any of you guys ever heard of Pokkén? It's a Pokemon game based on the fighting game franchise Tekken. And Dark Mewtwo has been aanounced to be in it. Personally, I'd like to see it in the main games, as well as Shadow Lugia and Primal Dialga.

Actually I haven't watched many playthroughs online at all, only a few of those hack playthroughs Achromatic did lately. I try to keep myself unspoiled for the most part, because I might still play those games later.

I've seen a bit of that. It's one of those button-mashing games that's fun to do for once, providing that your opponent doesn't know how it works either.

Actully, I'm really hoping Primal Dialga and Palkia will make their appearances in a Sinnoh remake. They already have a special orb each, all it's gotta do is turn that in a Mega stone. Giratina might be a problem though, because it already has two forms.

Yup, I've heard of it! It sounds like a cool concept (despite me preferring Smash Bros.), though I haven't looked up too much information about it yet. I did hear that it currently has a pretty small roster, but let's hope that changes before the Wii U version is released!

That would certainly be awesome, but it's a shame that the "Primal" Dialga we know is actually supposed to be called "Dark Dialga" in the original Japanese version, while Primal Groudon/Kyogre are still referred to as "Primal" in both versions. Now of course they can still make another Primal Dialga, but it'll most likely have an unfamiliar design.
